its Meh

i found it to be very thick, It didnt work very good in comparison to other mascara's. I bought this one and a different brand at the same time and I only use the other brand.

Not for me

The picture is not me. First off this mascara is a bitch to wash off. It's very clumpy and feels Ike my lashes are 100 pounds. It's thick and tacky texture is a sure turn off.

Heavy and clumpy

I'm not one to wear alot of makeup. If I'm going somewhere special, yes, but normally I may toss on a bit of mascara and a lip gloss. Well in a rush and out of mascara, I stopped at a drug store and Covergirl Lash Blast was on sale, so I grabbed it. Put it on in the car. I found it to be clumpy, it didn't spread your lashes, they all stuck together and it was very heavy looking. I love alot of Covergirl products, this just isn't one of them.

Okay, but...

This mascara might be good for those who already have long, luscious lashes, but it did nothing for my pitiful ones. Maybe I was expecting too much, but I didn’t see any “boost of volume.”

Despite the chunky container, the brush was actually quite well designed making it easy to use. I’m not sure if it was the mascara or the brush, but trying to apply a second coat was like dragging through mud.

The Extreme Black - 785 is definitely what it says it is and I am so happy they don’t test on animals.

I have tried other Covergirl mascara and loved them, so it is just this one that I have an issue with.

Price wise I think you can get better for less.

Not awful, but spidery lashes are not my jam.

The first thing I noticed about this mascara that had alarm bells ringing, is that it says smudge-proof and sweat proof on the back, but only resistant on the front. Which is it? It’s never a good sign when a product starts out by lying to you.

Actually the mascara, it turns out, is ok, but I don’t see why anyone would buy anything else from this line, when the ‘Clump Crusher’ mascara is so darn perfect. My main dislike about Lash Blast Active mascara is that it ends up kind of spidery looking. Even when brushing my lashes apart, they seemed to stick together and give it that spidery, thick look that I’m not a fan of.

It definitely makes my lashes look like they are bigger and I wouldn’t feel uncomfortable wearing it, but I would reach for Clump Crusher over this every time.

I do like the short spiky brush, as it works well with my overly long, thick eyelashes, but despite this I found the formula so thick that I had trouble not getting it on my eyelids when applying. I think a slightly runnier formula would make this mascara so much better, but it’s not bad.

Lackluster Mascara

I didn't really like this mascara. It became clumpy really easily and I didn't like the shape of the applicator handle. It did last well however without any heavy feelings on my lashes. I would get their standard mascara again over this one.
