Basic mascara

This mascara is WATER RESISTANT not WATERPROOF. The two are different for those that have complaints about it not being waterproof. I too was disappointed but I misread thinking at first it had said waterproof.
(Water-resistant: able to resist the penetration of water to some degree but not entirely. Water-repellent: not easily penetrated by water, especially as a result of being treated for such a purpose with a surface coating. Waterproof: impervious to water)
Therefore do not wear this mascara if you plan on going out in the rain, swimming, etc or plan to have a good cry lol. it won't hold up. It's your basic type mascara. Sometimes I get very watery eyes and while wearing this mascara I found it running onto my cheeks.
