I want to like this for the price and the wide availability of this product. but as far as mascaras go, this hardly works. the best I can equate it to is when you notice your current brand of mascara is running low, so you have to apply tons of coats to notice you have any on at all.

I find you have to put to many coats on to make it noticable at all i wont by this again.

I might be one of the few that wouldn't buy this mascara again judging from the other reviews! I'm just not impressed with it. I feel like it's "dry" and take me 8-9 coats before I get the desired effect on my lashes. Could be I'm a more thick mascara kind of girl! It doesn't clump though and the applicator is nice and long. I also feel like it didn't do much to lengthen my lashes though my lashes are rather long to begin with so that might have something to do with it. I've been using Covergirl Professional (I think it's called) for over 10 years and it's my favourite but thought I would try out a new one. I'm unimpressed with the amount of coats I need to put on to have some effect on my lashes and look like I'm wearing mascara!

I picked up the blue version of this (accidentally) from a clearance bin. I have liked the other Cover Girl mascaras I've tried so I thought that I might was well try this one too.

Ugh, mistake. I don't know if maybe I got an old tube, but I found the formula to be very dry and it was hard to get enough product on the brush. What mascara I could actually get onto my lashes, didn't do too much at all. I didn't find that it lengthened much at all. Overall it was a total let down, and not worth the time trying to make it work. Pass on it.

I had high hopes for this. I did like the brush and the price was okay. This did not give any length at all. I returned this product, very ineffective.

The mascara formula is very average and very very clumpy. The brush works great on the first try but if you're putting more than one coat, it just clumps the lashes together.

Buy this mascara for the brush alone... the mascara itself is average, doesnt really lengthen or volumize - but DEFINITELY defines and separates. I agree that it does flake (as do most average mascaras) but again, the brush is amazing and would use this brush with other mascaras!! It's great for bottom lashes too as it is very tiny.

This mascara was okay, but I didn't love it. It didn't do much in terms of length OR volume. Despite its claims, it did flake at the end of the day which irritated my eyes. It didn't smudge, though, and the brush is nice and thin, easy to apply with. Also, it dries fast on your lashes, which I like, because there is nothing I hate more than wet, sticky mascara. Overall, this mascara offers subtle length, and it might be nice if you're going for a natural look.

I found the wand never gathered up enough of the product so I had to do multiple applications. I also found that the product itself didn't really length my lashes as just color them. It didn't really separate my lashes or anything special. It was just bland.
