Not for humid climates and acne prone skin

I bought this product because a few of my friends had used it and saw good results for brightening skin tone and reducing pigmentation from acne scarring. I tried this product out for six months and unfortunately it caused minor Whitehead breakouts. My skin doesn’t do well in tropical humid climates which I have been living in for the past 6 years and I think the very oily texture of this serum combined with the hot temperatures didn’t mix well for my face. I have since relocated to a colder climate year round so may give this another go for a daytime winter serum as I’m still searching for one.
