Be prepared... For a confusing game!

After an hour of trying to initially set up the game board. We are finally are ready to start playing when we began to read the instructions of how to take a turn. It was at that point that the whole family; an 8 year old, 10 year old and 2 adults all became overwhelmed and further confused by pieces, actions and complex instructions that sadly we gave up playing. We had such high hopes as we are huge Disney fans! Sadly I'm not sure we will ever understand how to properly play. There is no way a group of kids 8+ could figure this out.

Fun Game

Fun and easy game to at with my family!
As soon as we received it, we opened it up and set it up to play.
I have 2 older children who enjoyed it but my 10 year old really enjoyed it the most!

Great family game

My kids absolutely loved this game. It was a fun game for a family night. Would definitely recommend if your family loves Disney or board games. Lots of fun!

SideKick Game Review

I have two kids aged 11 and 9. We tried to play this with our neighbors kids the same age. The game seems interesting but my kids were very confused with the instructions. It seemed very complicated and definitely something it would take time to get used to. The kids play monopoly and find that easy to set up, here there is a lot of prework, the spaces on the board as an example it would take you a while to figure out how to move, I recommend demonstrating how a piece should move. Maybe a video! I said I would buy it again because of the quality of the board and game pieces and the overall concept of the sidekicks,

Fun, attention capturing family game!

We were so excited to get this game!!
It is colourful and adventure packed for all players.
Kept the kids and adults enthralled the whole game trough because there are so many surprises through the challenge cards!
It does have alot of rules to go through and was a little more difficult for my 8 year old to catch on.
Her attention was so peaked from the fun of the game that she did not get the least bit discouraged!
Hours of fun to be had as a family!! I highly recommend this game for families who enjoy board game nights together!

Great game

Thank you family rated for sending this game to us to try out for free. My kids love it! They haven’t stopped playing with it since it arrived in the mail. It’s a great way for them to interact with each other and they were so happy to do so. They loved taking turns collecting the keys around the board, and I loved watching them have fun! I would definitely recommend this game to families with elementary school aged kids.

Disney Lovers Must-Have

This game creates hours of creative, high-energy, competitive fun for the whole family! There are a LOT of rules so although rated 8+, it will take some time to get the hang of it. The main characters have been captured and it’a up to the Sidekicks to rescue them! It features characters such as Tinker Bell, Timon & Pumbaa, Jafar, Scar, Gaston, Captain Hook, Maleficent, Lumiere, Abu, Flora, Fauna & Merriweather. There are exploding bridges, pirate attacks, henchmen, curses, hunting, villains attacking, monkey business, lost boys, pixie power and more so Hakuna Matata

Complicated but fun

This game has a lot of rules, but once you work your way through the booklet and figure out how to play it is quite rewarding. I would not recommend this product to people with young children as there is a lot of information to absorb.

In times like a pandemic it is good to know there are quality family board games that can still get the whole family around the table for a night of laughs and even story telling….thank you Disney for great evening with more to come
