Je n'utilise pas souvent de shampoing sec. Mais je voulais essayer celui-ci surtout pour ma fille qui n'aime pas toujours laver ses cheveux. Premièrement je trouve qu'il sent très bon alors ça rafraîchit les cheveux, par contre je ne sais pas si c'est parce que j'en ai trop mis ou si j'étais trop près, mais le shampoing a laissé un résidu blanc (comme de la poudre) et les cheveux avaient l'air gras, donc pas trop plaisant, mais c'est peut-être juste parce que je l'ai mal utilisé...je vais finir mon échantillon avant de décider si on l'aime ou pas.

J'aime tous les produits de la gamme Dove cependant j'ai une petite réserve sur ce produit, pour le prix Il peut dépanner, bonne odeur, aucun dépôt blanc au cuir chevelus mais Il ne donne pas l'effet de propreté recherché pour un shampoing sec.

I have tried a lot of dry shampoo brands, and decided to give Dove a shot since I love most of their other products. Well, Dove didn't hit the mark with this one. It left me hair tangled and greasy. I have no idea how a product meant to get rid of grease, made it worse. Not a fan.

This went on sale at my local Rexalls a few weeks ago and decided to give it a try. I have only tried a couple other dry shampoos and this one is not the right fit for me. I was sick before Christmas and didn't wash my hair for days. I decided to use this and it just made my hair really oily and prone to more tangles. My hair felt really dry and bit greasy on the scalp. Maybe I was just really due for a good wash. That being said, I'm thankful I used it because it made me wash my hair even on the day that I was suffering from fever because my head just felt really itchy after using it.

I gave it another try a couple days ago and it just really didn't do anything for me. My hair still felt greasy and I got more tangles and it was so hard to brush my hair. Maybe I will try the different kind of Dry Shampoo from Dove. :)
The Volume Dry Shampoo might be just not the right fit for me.

Je n'ai pas vraiment aimé ce produit. J'ai trouvé qu'il laissait une couche cirée sur mes cheveux plutôt que de les alléger (surtout aux racines). Je l'ai essayé gratuitement, mais je ne l'achèterais pas. Vraiment pas efficace sur mes cheveux.

I don't mean for this review to sound extremely negative in anyway. I just feel that this product might not work well for those who wash their hair daily, as I do.

I liked the look of the product, it's ease of use as well as it's scent and ability to blend into my dark hair.

The only thing was, it didn't do what it said it would do and absorb the excess oil in my hair. In fact, I felt like it made my hair feel greasier, as well as heavier. Im pretty sure this can be attributed to the fact that I wash my hair daily and can't even stand one day of greasy hair.

I don't think this is a terrible product, I just dont think it's the dry shampoo for me and my haircare regime.

Sorry Dove. Not impressed by this dry shampoo. I tried it several times, on several stages of unwashed hair, tried it upside down and rightside up, combing it, brushing it, working it in with my fingers and I just didn't get that clean look I get with other products. Got some volume but it still looked like I needed to wash my hair!

It smells wonderful and I had such high hopes, this being a Dove product and all but I was left feeling flat. (no pun intended). Keep up the good work with improving our self-images, but maybe call this a volumizer rather than a dry shampoo.

I found the product to be average. It did do the job, but the scent was a bit too strong for me. My hair did feel refreshed, but made it kind of frizzy.

I received this product to try for free as part of the Chick Advisor Product Review Club. For background, I have (a LOT of) thick medium length hair that becomes oily really quickly so I typically need to wash my hair every day, otherwise it really shows. I have previously used a DIY dry shampoo with pantry items (powder form) to try to go a day between shampoos on weekends. One significant advantage of the Dove Refresh + Care Volume Dry Shampoo is that it is a spray format so much less messy than what I have previously used. However perhaps because of the spray format, I found that I wasn't able to get it through my hair and into my roots well enough for it to be effective at removing the oil or making my hair look better. I am encouraged seeing a lot of positive reviews so the lack of effectiveness I had may be due to my hair type. I have had a few hairdressers note that my hair is among the top 1% of their clients in terms of thickness and amount of hair - so if this doesn't sound anything like you, it may be worth you trying the product to see if it would work better for you.

It does give a lot of volume but I didn't quite dig the fragrance too much. I guess I prefer a more citrus-y kind of smell for a dry shampoo. When it came to absorbing the oils...it worked well.
