I have used many dry shampoos in the past and all were pricey. I am not against scented products but something about this was not to my liking. My family members also commented on how strong the scent was. I did try it once and it was effective in adding volume to my hair. I would definitely buy this product because of quality and effectiveness if it came in unscented.

I was so excited to receive this free sample because dry shampoo has become an important part of my routine over the last couple months. I wasn't too impressed with this one though. I found it made my hair very white where I sprayed it and I really had to rub at it for it to go away. I definitely didn't like it as much as the dry shampoo I usually use, which hardly leaves any residue at all. I did find it worked for the most part, I just didn't like all the residue and for that reason, I more than likely wouldn't buy it myself. I'm glad I got to sample it though, so I didn't spend money on it myself.

I'm always on the look out for a good and effective dry shampoo. I'm not one of those people who washes their hair every single day, I'm more like every 2-3 days and If I'm really lucky, well lets say lazy and want to try and get away with a fourth pony tail/bun day so be it. So if a dry shampoo can get me to that 4th day. Hooray. When I received this Dove Refresh + Care Volume Dry Shampoo, (#GotItFree) I was super excited. One, like I said on the look out for a good/effective dry shampoo and also since I have very fine hair, something to help with my lack of volume. Firstly I like to say for a dry shampoo the smell is good. Your not killing yourself with the fumes, there is a white cast that is present when you apply the shampoo, but it does go away. I Also found in my case on 2 day old hair (not a total grease ball yet), I needed to apply what seemed to be a lot to achieve a hint of difference (if that makes sense). As for volume, it lasted ohhh a few minutes then if deflated (nothing new in my case). Would I recommend this product? For the price around the $5 buck price range, you can definitely give it ago, but if you have fine hair I would maybe skip if you looking to achieve volume. Thanks.

It's ok for the day after I shampoo but heavier than some other dry shampoos so it doesn't last for the third day. The volume was ok. All in all. Not bad but nothing super impressive.

I was fairly disappointed with this dry shampoo. I was expecting more since Dove is normally a great brand. It left my head feeling itchy and seems to have damaged my hair, leaving it crackly dry. The smell of it is practically unbearable. My head and hair did not feel clean at all after using it.

I have used other dry shampoos in the past so was excited to try this one. I found it to work OK but it will not replace my normal brand. I don't like that I had to work with it so much in order to do its job while others I have tried have worked by just spraying on. The price is average so not worth the switch in that department either.

I think for the price and the scent, it is definitely worth the money. It does give a fresh feeling etc. but as for volume. I am not super sure. since I feel my hair is flat. #gotitfree But it cleans my hair.

I really loved this dry shampoo when I first tried it. Initial results were great, my hair felt fresher, looked clean and smelt great. Over time my hair felt really heavy and looked even worse. Might work better on people with thicker hair, I think because my hair is fine it didn't work long term (>30 mins) for me

I recieved this product from chick advisor. I love the bottle and spray nozzle. i like that it doesnt leave a white powder on ny hair. Also the product works well to absorb the excess pil. The only negative is the amell. Its a nice smell but can be overpowering because it lingers
