I've tried a few different dry shampoos. It's no Batiste, but it is one of the better options out there. Using it while my curly hair is straight gets me an extra day of use.

I received this for free, thank you Chickadvisor! This was my first time trying a Dove dry shampoo and I was not disappointed. It smelled great and sprayed on easy. The only thing was, I had to use a LOT more than I would have expected to absorb the oil, and this was after only one day without washing my hair. Besides that, I would definitely recommend this product because it is great value.

It advertises that it will instantly remove oil and it lives up to that statement! I am currently on day 3 hair and it doesn't look OR feel greasy at all! Plus it makes styling hair easy. I actually find I usually have more volume on day 2 hair after using Dove Dry Shampoo than I do after just washing it. Other dry shampoos have made my hair feel sticky and gross and it is obvious that a dry shampoo was used. I find a lot of dry shampoo powder stays in your hair no matter how much you try to brush it out. Dove Refresh + Care is different. It really does soak up oil and doesn't leave your hair feeling gross. Plus the powder comes out of hair easily. I find I can go an extra day or 2 longer without washing my hair when I have used Dove than using other dry shampoos. Added bonus: It smells really good.

J'ai pu testé le shampoing sec dove fresh grâce à chick advisor. Par contre, ce n'est pas un produit que j'achèterai, il ne fut pas très efficace sur mon cuir chevelu. Il n'a pas bien absorbé le sébum.

I received the Dove Refresh + Care Volume Dry Shampoo from Chick Advisor #gotitfree. I have oily hair so I use dry shampoos on days I don''t wash my hair. I used this dry shampoo both as directed and as I usually do.
Directions for use: Separate your dry hair into sections. Shake the dry shampoo spray can vigorously; hold it about 20 to 30 cm from the head and spray directly into the roots of your hair in short bursts. Leave in for a couple of minutes, then turn your head upside down and brush out all of the powder before turning your head upright again and styling as usual.
The after picture attached was taken after using the product as directed. I found that the dry shampoo did add some volume to my fine, limp hair. While it absorbed some of the oil at the roots, I have used other dry shampoos that absorb more of the oil. The scent was great and. while lightly scented, it lingered all day. I think this product would be better suited for people would less oily hair. I don't think I will repurchase.

I am a regular dry shampoo user. I'm blonde so I spend a significant amount of money getting my hair colored and by not washing my hair it stays much healthier and the color lasts longer. I normally use another brand of dry shampoo in the same price range as Dove and I was very disappointed by the Dove dry shampoo. I used it on my first not washing day and couldn't seem to use enough of it as the oil would not absorb. Normally by my second day my dry shampoo is even more effective and I may juse have to use a touch more. I had to put my hair up as it was far too oily to leave down. I will say it has a fantastic smell which is hard to find in a dry shampoo as they usually have a very chemical like smell. So the only positive of this product is that at least my greasy hair smells clean. Will never buy again.

I was lucky enough to try this product for free; thanks, Chick Advisor!! I've tried a few dry shampoos before and they're really handy. This product is super; works great and smells really nice. It left my hair nicely refreshed on day 2 and gave it a bit of volume. I would totally recommend this product and plan to buy it in the future.

You gotta try this! I've never been a fan of dry shampoos because i've always found that white powder that it leaves behind to be extremely annoying. I've had my hair done and sprayed dry shampoo before and had a patch of powder to deal with but this product definitely does not do that! It has a fairly strong scent but is very "clean" and i think it smells amazing. I'm not sure if it really adds volume but for the fact of not leaving the white powder behind i think its worth the dry.

J'ai déjà utilisé des shampoing sec dans le passé, ayant les cheveux gras de nature, lorsque j'avais vu les premières annonces il y a bien des années j'avais été enchantée et je n'attendais que cela sorte au Québec ! Le premier shampoing sec que j'ai acheté était celui de tresemmé mais il a une odeur tellement forte que je ne l'aimais pas vraiment en plus il lassait des dépôts blanc dans les cheveux. J'ai ensuite essayé le premier shampoing sec de Dove qui était pour moi une nette amélioration par rapport à celui de Tresemmé. Par contre je trouve l'odeur tellement forte que je ne l'utilise que très rarement soit lors d'un very very bad hair day ! Car l'odeur te rapelle toute la journée que tu as les cheveux sales, malgré qu'ils ont une meilleur apparence, c'est psychologique ! J'étais donc très excité d'essayer le nouveau shampoing sec de Dove Refresh + Care Volume, car je me suis dis que c'était sûrement une version améliorée de leur premier shampoing. Et j'avais raison sur certains aspects dont l'odeur beaucoup moins forte pendant la journée. Par contre, j'en ai mis plus qu'à l'habitude et je ne trouve pas que cela agit très bien. Mes cheveux sont encore un peu gras et plats, il faut dire que j'ai sauté un lavage alors je ne sais pas si c'est parce qu'ils sont trop gras mais pour moi, ça n'a pas totalement fait l'effet escompté. Mes cheveux sont un peu rafraichi mais pas assez à mon goût. Ça me semble quand même être un produit d'une bonne qualité qui peut convenir aux filles dont les cheveux sont un peu moins gars que les miens.
