High quality matcha at a great value

I'm a huge green tea fan, but I haven't dabbled into the world of matcha before. I saw this matcha green tea powder by Elan on my Costco trip, and I thought it was the perfect opportunity to buy and try out.

    🍵What's special about it?
    - From Japan, authentic source
    - Premium, finely milled
    - Organic, high quality
    - Versatile, can be used as tea itself or in any recipe such as baking, latte, smoothie, etc.
    - Gluten free, non-GMO

    🍵How does it taste?
    - It has a more richer and intense earthy flavor than normal leaf green tea, while also being less bitter

    🍵Well-being benefits:
    - Can have a positive impact on your energy levels and overall health with daily consumption
    - High in vitamin A and source of vitamin C
    - Great alternative to coffee for anyone who are looking for something with less jittery caffeine effect

I'm quite impressed with this matcha green tea powder by Elan. For those of you who are big green tea fans, try this brand out. I promise you won't be disappointed.

Tastes great, best price for this type of product

I found this product at Costco recently - not sure how long they will carry it for - and decided to try it. My main applications for matcha is for use in lattes and desserts. This product is from Japan, and has the brighter green colour and less bitter taste compared to matcha powder from China or Taiwan. The pricing at Costco is the best I've found so far for Japanese matcha powder and is more affordable than buying small amounts. It comes in a vacuum-sealed foil package, inside the cardboard can, which has a tight tin stopper lid.
There is another type of matcha powder that has a more granular appearance and stronger taste - it usually comes in glass jars - and this isn't that type. However, for the price and availability, this product is well worth it. I would totally recommend this to anyone who uses matcha regularly.
