A decent beginner contour palette, but would not re-purchase

This is the first contour palette I had ever used and for $6 it's a steal. That being said, once I realized there were better ones out there, my opinion of this one changed. The white highlight is too light for my skin and doesn't show up. The banana under-eye setting powder is too yellow for my skin and isn't flattering (that's the case with every yellow powder for me). The bottom two shades were the only ones I used. They were decent, but after a few months they dried out and started to apply chalky. So I ended up throwing out the whole thing and would not re-purchase.

ELF Contour Palette - You Get What You Pay For

ELF products tend to be fairly low priced, and in this case you get what you pay for. This palette does the job, but its not professional grade by any stretch. Its a great palette for someone just starting out learning how to apply make up, or contour, but for people who are a little more advanced in their make up application skills, I would recommend something a little higher quality. All in all, it does the job - its just not the best quality, and doesnt last as long as I would have liked.

I saw this product reviewed on Youtube and decided to give it a try because of the affordability. While the packaging is amazing, and the colours are great the product is simply to dry and cakey for my skin. It also isn't very pigmented so you have to apply a lot of product. It might be good if you are really young and have perfect skin that is on the dry side. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone who has mature skin or anyone oily. (it tends to look patchy). I do think the brand looks amazing for the price.
