Great Drugstore Setting Spray

I was looking for a non-mattifying setting spray from the drugstore for a while. I know they make a Matte version as well, but I prefer a more Dewey finish. I think the packaging is really cute and I love adding this to eyeshadow to use them as liner or to increase their pigment. It also helps melt powder into my skin so foundation looks less cakey. This is great for dry skin! My only issue if that I want the spray nozzle to release a finer mist, but it's not as bad as some other sprays I've tried.

Mixed feelings about it

I love the affordability and availability of Essence products. I've never tried a setting spray before so wanted to try an affordable brand to start with. The spray comes in a 50ml traditional spray bottle with a clear cover. The spray is clear and comes out in a fine mist. It has a slight make upy scent but goes away once on the face. It feels just like you're spraying your face with water so it's refreshing. It dries fairly quick and didn't make my skin feel sticky. I tend to sweat a lot and I find the setting spray really helped keep the sweatiness at bay, so I love it for that. Even though it was great for that it didn't really help with my make up creasing throughout the day. I have mixed feelings about it and will have to play around more with some primers to see if I can make it work better. For its price I'd say it's worth a try for anyone curious.
