Mixed reviews about this product. One day I like it and another day I hate it. Sometimes it weighs down my hair. The jury is still out for that.

I used both the shampoo and conditioner, love the smell and the price wasn't to bad either. I found the conditioner didn't work as well as I'd like. Left my hair tangled and dry looking :(

I like this product but I find after coloring it still does take some of the color out when you rince , the price is right and goes on sale alot but with red hair it is harder to maintain so would reccomend for all colors but red!

This shampoo smells great. However I find that it does not protect the color in my hair. Also it weights down my hair alot.

This shampoo and conditioner combo started off with a pleasant, not cloying fruity scent. The shampoo seemed to clean well but did not leave my hair as silky as I would like. But still an overall good set of products.

Smells wonderful, great price, BUT did poorly in protecting my color.

I bought Garnier Fructis Color Shield Conditioner expecting great things from it. As a general rule, I find that color treated hair tends to be dryer than other types or hair. So I was very dissapointed to find that the conditioner was quite runny. This meant that I had to use twice the amount of product that I normally would and my hair still felt dry after my shower. I fail to see how hair that is not being properly conditioned will make your color last longer. Although the price is great, I find that the quality of the product is lacking.

I like the smell of the shampoo, kind of a strawberry scent. I also liked that the shampoo was thicker. i thought it was the conditioner at first. Overall i didnt notice that it made my color last any longer than it normally does. I did like the bounce it gave my hair when i washed and dried it. I dont think i would buy this in the future though

I was chosen to review this product for the Product Review Club in conjunction with the Garnier Nutrisse hair colour. The pshampoo smelled good and lathered well. My hair always felt clean. I didn't care for the conditioner however, I personally didn't like the was it felt on my hair before or after rinsing. The bottle design allowed for product to seep out of the bottle and I lost a significant amount of product when I flip the cap open during each use. I honestly can say that it seems to have prolonged my colour from fading, I am showing some greys at the temple but nothing significant. That being said, It's a good product but I personally won't be purchasing after I use up the remainder of each...it just wasn't that special.

I really liked the smell of the new Garnier Fructis color shield shampoo and the way it lathered up for me, but my hair sure didn’t stay clean for long while I was using it. The color shield conditioner I didn’t like at all. It didn’t seem to matter how much, or how little I would put on my wet hair, it felt like there was nothing there by the time I was done putting it through all of my hair. While I was rinsing the conditioner out of my hair in the shower, I could hardly even feel the conditioner in my hair and my back and shoulder felt like there was a greasy film all over my skin. I would have to rewash just to get it all off of my skin. When it came to combing the knots out of my hair, it was a nightmare! My usually conditioner makes my hair very easy to comb through so this one made me feel like I was doing more damage then I was protecting any color, or my hair at all.
By the middle of the day my hair looked and felt dirty. So I tried just using the color shield shampoo and my own conditioner, but my hair still didn’t feel, or look right.
How ever I have funny hair and it’s hard for me to find the right products that work for me. My hair is very long and can be oily on the top, dry through the middle of my length and very dry at the bottom. After I started using the color shield shampoo and conditioner my hair would start to look greasy and I also would get static fly a ways when I’d brush it by the middle of the day. This would happen no matter what I tried. I didn’t find that it did any thing special to my dyed hair at all. In fact my own shampoo that I normally used before I even dyed my hair seemed to work much better for me. Maybe for some hair types the new Garnier Fructis color shield shampoo and conditioner will work, but neither the color shield shampoo, nor the conditioner is for me.
I would like to thank the lady’s at Chick Adviser for giving me the chance to try these products out.
Although they didn’t work out for me, I still had a great time testing every thing out.
