Excellent!

I recently had the pleasure of trying for free the Geovita Rice and Lentil Blend. It contains a mix of long-grain rice, red and yellow lentils, as well as soy grits, which are all organic and of superior quality, being imported from Italy. Although you can cook and eat it as is, I added mine to a soup base with some vegetables. It cooked well and gave the soup a nice flavor and heartiness. The packaging recommends you cook it for 10 minutes, but I let mine simmer for a little while longer, which gave the mix a softer texture. This blend is low in fat, sodium free, and a good source of fibre, all while being free of GMOs! Great product!

Surprised!!!!

What can I say. I got a bag of this for free. It was super easy to cook in the rice cooker. Perfect texture. You also get the great benefits of lentils. Even my kids gobbled it up. We had it with ginger stir fry. Next day we fried it up with beef, chicken, veg and turmeric. It was even better the next day. I totally loved the flavour, texture and health benefits. Havent purchased in the store i got a bag for free to try so not sure of the price but im definately going to check it out again. So delicious.
