I did enjoy trying out this product. I don't wear a lot of foundation and found this product to be light on the skin. It want heavy or gross feeling after you put it in. It is a product that lives up to it name!
I received this product for free from the Product Review Club.
I have received several samples over the years of this type of powder. It seems that many different brands are offering one these days. That being said, I do have several to compare it to.
I found it worked just as well as the more expensive brands. I found it very soft and went on easily. My only complaint was that I found that it took a bit of effort to blend in to my skin. Once it was on, I found it decreased the shine and helped to set my other make up. Though I didn't notice if it extended the wear of my makeup.
I have oily skin, so I think this powder worked well on me, but perhaps not as effective on dry skin.
Keeps my oily skin happy all day. The only thing is that it does leave a bit too much white on your face, no matter how much you blend! If they offered the same powder in different shades, it'd be awesome.
The GOSH Prime 'n Set Powder is great, easy to use and help set my make-up just right for a evening outing. This product works will and I will definitely use it going forward in my make-up routine.
Not a huge fan on primers or mineral powders. I find them to leave the skin looking like it has lots of powder on! This product itself wasn't so bad, but it's not something I really enjoyed!
i got it for free from Chic Advisor campaign. I have combination skin and quite oily in summer and hot days. I like that fact that it creates a matte look and anti-shine for the whole morning. The application of the powder is a bit messy though.
I must say, I was intrigued to find out, if indeed, the Gosh prime 'n set powder would do double duty as it states. Of course, I was more hesitant that it would actually perform as a primer vs a finishing powder. I put on a light moisturizer before I put on the "primer". I think if my face was having a dry day, it might not have worked as well, but time will tell. The powder primer did seem to reduce my pores, which was something I was doubtful of :). I will say, at this point, it felt awkward to then put on a liquid foundation over a powder. It felt backwards. But, I put on my foundation, then used a little more of the prime 'n set to set and reduce shine. My makeup looked great. In summary, I think that if my skin is really dry, I might not go for the powder primer, but on my good days, I wouldn't hesitate to use it. I also wonder if this powder may look a bit washed out on darker skin tones.
I received the prime and set powder part of the review package for free from chick advisor. I don't usually tend to go for a powder primer. I have used the gosh primer and make for professionals primers. I was very surprised by the product it is very light and soft on the skin. I didn't feel like i needed to put lots on. I would recommend to friends to check it out. Would buy again
Good product that does double duty. Does not dry out skin and did not irritate my sensitive areas.
