Smooths and blurs pores!

I’ll start off by saying if you’re on the fence, just try it!! I really enjoy using this primer and it’s the one that I reach for most often now. It definitely makes a huge difference when it comes to blurring texture and pores. My skin appears healthier and my makeup goes on so smoothly. I have oily skin and it lasts all day without having to powder or use blotting papers as often as I would with my previous primer. Also love that it’s silicone free! Highly recommended.

Extraordinary Primer, lasts all day!

I received the Grown Alchemist Primer free from Butterly to test and review. The product lived up to expectations for the Grown Alchemist Brand. The primer was lightweight and secured make-up for a lasting application. The texture was silky on the skin, with a light and pleasing scent. I really liked the way this product softened my skin and held make-up applications in place for all-day wear. I simply love this primer and would definitely purchase again and recommend it!

A skin primer that does more.

This primer is a great step to add to your beauty routine whether you wear make-up every day or not.
Not only does it help prep the skin for make-up it can do many other things. It acts as a skin defender, assists with strengthening the barrier, less moisture loss, smooths the look of pores and fine lines and leaves smooth soft skin. After cleansing and applying your moisturizer the light gel is easily applied and a little goes a long way. You can stop here and enjoy the mattifying look or continue with foundation, powder, what ever make-up you want to use. It has a light scent and is silicone-free. Mattifies and grips makeup

Thanks to Butterly I got to try this Primer for free in exchange for my honest review. This primer has a very unique texture like nothing I've ever used before. It comes out of the tube like a thick clear gel but when you put it on it turns into a smooth slightly powdery finish. It sets pretty quickly so you have to spread it out fast. It has a blurring effect and helps cover up uneven texture. I used it under a full coverage foundation and found that it really grips the makeup so much so that I had less time to blend it out then I usually do. The key to using this primer successfully is working fast. Once it was on it helped my makeup last all day. I have dry skin and the only thing I did not like was that it made my skin feel a little tight. This could be due to the fact that I am testing it out in the middle of a cold dry Canadian winter and it's a mattifying primer. I can see this working really well for people with normal to oily skin. I can see myself loving it in the summer so I'm going to save it and revisit it then. I did like how it blurred my pores and skin texture and the velvety finish it gave my foundation. It has a light lemon herbal scent but that doesn't last for long. There is no noticeable scent by the time I finish my whole routine. I love that it has skincare ingredients like Prebiotic Peptides and Ashwagandha.

Magic in a Tube

There is some magic going on with this primer. It says that it is silicone-free, however it looks, feels and performs just like other silicone based primers I’ve used in the past. I am absolutely in love with this primer. It made a great base for my makeup and helped my makeup to last all day long. It didn’t clog my pores or make me breakout and it felt great on my skin. It made my pores less visible and helped to matify my skin without making it look dull. I definitely recommend trying this product if you want the results of a silicone primer without the silicone ingredients. I received this product to review and give my honest feedback.

Best Primer - smoother and healthier looking skin!

I have tried other primers before and never really saw any improvement to my skin. This one is different. It glides on with a cool refreshing feeling and made my skin feel smoother and softer with every use. My skin felt hydrated but the product dries quickly and does not leave any stickiness on your skin. My make up seemed to last longer throughout the day. Great Primer

I have to use a primer when I apply my makeup. If I don't, I can see my pore clearly and I don't think I can apply my foundation evenly without it. When I applied Grown Alchemist Primer, I was shock it does NOT contain silicone because the texture feels like it does. Oh, and smells like herbs which also surprised me. When I read the ingredients, it must be the rosemary or the bergamot oil that I am smelling. I give this extra points for the natural scent. It made my makeup application easy and it held up all day in the winter. I guess I will have to test it out during the summer. I received this product for free for my honest review.

Great primer!

I received this product for free from @thisisbutterly and @grownalchemist in exchange for my honest opinion. The primer smells of Bergamot, like a lot of Grown Alchemist products, I find. I used it in the mornings before I put my makeup on. It blends into my skin evenly and my makeup goes on smoothly. I did not experience any irritation while using this. I did not notice that my skin was any more or less hydrated while I used the primer. But, it did help my makeup last all day. The size of the tube is 50ml which is nice but the metal tube is super delicate and squeezes out product with the slightest touch. Definitely a great primer. I would recommend this product.
