The one at the Dollarama is better

This product would work best for people with hair on the thinner side I think. It only really smooths the outter layer of hair so if you have thicker hair you might need to separate it more. If you're dealing with some giant knots it will loosen them up a bit but won't take them out completely. It's easy to clean but the gray part comes off easily. They have a cheaper better dupe for this at the dollarama, I use it more since it has a handle and doesn't fall apart.

I found this product in my local dollar store for $3. It very similar to a larger company's version, but I believe it work quite well and doesn't pull on the hair. All in all a good on the go brush for travelling or even just school.

I have super long hair (waist length), and this is now the only brush I use. It's similar to a pet brush...but it works (I guess you can also use a pet brush).

Pro: It really works on tangles, for me anyways. Instead of trying to take out the knots combing through my lower back length hair wet or dry, it now takes about 10 seconds, or 4 strokes with this brush. Shaped like a Bean for better grip, it has short and long plastic bristles, kind of like a pet brush.

Con: It doesn't work on everyone, but for the price, if you have unruly long hair, it's worth a try. It's pretty cheaply made, and well, it's kinda ugly.

Price $1.50 - $2 for the Hair Bean at Dollarama. Or if you try to buy it at a salon, they try to charge you $25 for a different brand that looks exactly the same.
