A real treat!

I got to try Halifax Honey Co.’s hot honey for free in exchange for an honest review, and honestly I’m hooked. It’s completely made right here in Canada which I love supporting. You can now find it at select Sobeys or even on Amazon, so super easy to grab.

The flavor is not what I expected. I found it really sweet at first and then a mild little kick (like a 2/5 on heat). I’m not huge on spice and this was the perfect balance. I could probably handle a bit more. I’ve already drizzled it on eggs, roasted broccoli and potatoes, it was sooo good. Can totally see it being amazing on pizza, BBQ, or chicken too.

If you want something Canadian made, local, and different from your usual sauces, this one’s worth trying.

Next up for review thanks to #Butterly and this round #halifaxhoney is the Stingin Hot Honey! This was a free product in exchange for my review and we were stoked to get to try this local product! Not only was it delicious with a little kick, we had to really put it to the test! Introducing our creation: Brioche mini sliders, butter milk chicken, local zesty micro greens, tomatoes, Red Fox aged cheddar, applebutter bbq sauce with bacon jam using the hot honey and a side or rosemary garlic fries! A little bit of spice, paired with smokey bacon, sharp cheese for one heck of a bite, was 100% a winner! Sweet with a sting

This honey got a nice sting to it and we absolutely loved it. We tried it on chicken nuggets and cannot wait to try it on other stuff.

Very Tasty

Tasty and delicious honey topping! It is made with unpasteurized honey and pairs well with lots of dishes just like regular honey! Perfect level of spiciness but not too overwhelming! Would highly recommend.

What started off as a sample will become a household staple. This hot honey can go on pretty much anything that I make for supper. It's That Good!! I love that it is local and Canadian made!!

Perfect balance of sweet and spicy

This product adds an amazing touch to dishes. I love hot honey but infusing it myself is a lot so when the opportunity to try this product came along I had to get it. I air fried some chicken tenders and I drizzled a little on top of each piece once I took it out of the air fryer. The flavor profile is beautifully balanced with sweetness and heat and elevated a basic chicken tender meal. I look forward to trying this product in other dishes.

This is my first time trying hot honey and honestly I am in love!! Huge honey fan but the spices are just the perfect amount so you have still taste the honey. Absolutely amazing on eggs I will be trying this on everything from now on.

Delicious addition to pizza!

This ‘tastefully hot’ honey is a delicious addition to so many foods. My favourite way to enjoy it is on pizza, but avocado toast is a close second! I had previously tried a few of their products which are available in different heat levels, but the classic is still my go-to favourite!

Coming in hot with The Halifax Honey Co. 🇨🇦 “Stingin’ Hot Honey”. This is the perfect pairing with chicken or southwest potato coins. The honey has a smooth flavour with a little kick from the chilies. Drizzle over pizza or dip chicken wings!! I think it would also be great glazed on a baked Brie with roasted nuts. Yum yum. 10/10.
