To prevent respiratory infections

I have started giving them Helixia Kids – Natural Defense. It said it helps to prevent and reduce the frequency of common colds, sore throats, ear infections and other similar problems.
I prefer to give my kids natural products as much as possible and Helixia Kids – Natural Defense has only one medicinal ingredient: Pleuran which is a natural source of Beta-glucan, a component that helps to regulate the immune system. I like the simplicity of her formula, not too many chemical kids to be worried about. It is important to highlight it is free of Alcohol, dyes, gluten, sucrose and artificial sweeteners.
Helixia Kids – Natural Defense needs to be taken daily for at least three months to see the effect, that is why, it is recommended to start early when the season shifts. The daily dose is 1mL per kg of the body weight, no more than that. It is suitable for kids +3 years old. It is also a syrup, not too heavy and I can see it is almost flavourless, my kid likes it though, I know she will prefer something sweet but she takes it anyway.

It really works!

This is an effective remedy for my son sore throat! I was happy to discover it, right after using two bottles of antibiotics that were prescrbed by our pediatrician. This product stands out because it’s made with natural ingredients, which is a huge plus for parents who want to avoid artificial additives. The taste, which is always a concern with my son, is mild and pleasant, making it easier to administer without a struggle. My son didn’t mind taking it, which was a relief, as taste is often a dealbreaker!

When I received this product, I looked up the main ingredient which is pleuran. The research appears to be positive and conclusive that pleuran significantly lowers the frequency of flu and flu-like symptoms, and the number of lower respiratory tract infections. It also mentions reducing or preventing ear infections. I already give my kids (6 and 2 y.o.) as many vitamins as possible in order to boost their immune systems so I'm all for a natural product that can help shift the odds in our favour! I don't think it's realistic to avoid any and all colds or sickness, but shortening the length and severity is still a big win. At first my son didn't like the taste of this but it has grown on him and he has no problem taking it every morning. It isn't indicated for younger than 3 years old but you can consult your doctor if it's appropriate and for dosing for kids 0-2. We started taking this in the autumn to prepare for the winter and I hope with consistency, it will make for a easier winter!

I would choose this over the conventional Tylenol or Advil on the simple fact that Tylenol and Advil are not good for adults let alone children. So I'd recommend it on that simple fact

‘Tis the season for coughs and colds. @butterly sent over some Helixia Kids Natural Defense for us to try and it came at the right time because we just got over what seemed like a 100 day cough.😅

Clinically proven to help with the duration of cough, colds and ear infections this stuff is great - despite it’s not so great taste. I tried it as well and I can also agree that the taste isn’t great. However I have been hiding the daily recommended dose in our kiddos smoothies and she hasn’t suspected a thing yet. 🤞🏻
