A good drugstore brand

In the past few years I stopped dying my white/grey hair, so purple shampoo is an absolute must for me. This shampoo does a good job at keeping my hair from turning brassy, especially considering the low price tag. If you're new to using purple shampoo, you'll notice a difference after the first wash with this one. I do find it leaves a purple tint to my hair, though, which wasn't awesome. But for an inexpensive drugstore brand, this shampoo does the job well.

What a find!

I have recently bleached and toned my super brown hair to blond. The tone was looking worn out from the time I did it at the salon. This shampoo is a heaven sent. My hair looks less rusty yellow and more natural rich brownish blond. You do have to leave the shampoo in for about 10-15 mins to achieve the desired look. It is also very affordable, at $9.99 from Shopper's it is so worth it. A huge recommend towards this product!!!

This is the best purple shampoo on the market. Not like the other ones that dont do anything except have a purple tint. This shampoo actually helps with brassiness.

No brass!

I would buy this over and over again! I love an ash blonde colour and this shampoo keeps my colour vibrant and brass-free in between hair appointments. I only use 1-2 times a week or my hair will develop a purple tinge.

Okay ladies, this stuff is seriously awesome! I have naturally dark brown hair which I have been dying for quite some time aiming for that healthy shiny lovely ashy color that is all the rage! Of course, with my tiny little humans running the house, I tend to forget to make myself hair appointments when I should, and as a result go anywhere from 16-20 WEEKS between treatments. You can imagine the brassy situation after 5 months... not nice. So I have been reaching for a variety of purple shampoos for years. I tried this stuff for the first time and it is SO EFFECTIVE IT ACTUALLY TURNED SOME OF MY HAIR PURPLE! I know. That probably isn’t a ringing endorsement but I was so used to leaving the toning shampoos on for 5-10 minutes that I assumed I needed to do the same with this stuff. NOPE! The purple is now fading, and the brass is still gone! Bye Yellow I indeed. Safe to say, I’m in love!

One of the best drugstore purple shampoos

After trying (and loving the Ice Cream brand hair colour) I decided to try the purple shampoo to tame and brassiness I had from colouring my hair blonder. This is by far the best purple shampoo. After only a couple uses, I have zero brassy tones in my hair. Best part of it, it cost less than $10!
