These were much smaller than i originally thought. I find they hold their shape better than the originals, but work with the same effectiveness to assist me in not losing hair. I usually use these to hold the end of my braids closed, but they can be used in many detailed hairstyles. I would not use them where you want to hold a large amount of hair, for that I would recommend the original size.
