Expensive and not better than other lip balm

I have this in the Shea Butter, Mint, and Lemon flavours.

    Pros:
    - has SPF

    Cons:
    - lots of excess packaging for the amount of product it contains
    - does not really moisturize my lips (just sits on top)
    - very thick, not natural looking when I apply it
    - pretty expensive for the little tube

I'm a big fan of the Blistex (specifically the berry kind) and I still haven't found anything that is a better value or better for moisturizing my lip.

I bought this for my boyfriend who was against me buying him a $7 lip balm - but he loves it, and uses it daily. He prefers it now over his regular lip balms he used to use... however, this has gone up in price... like significantly. It is now almost $12 at Sephora... which is ridiculous! But if you need it... then you have no choice but to buy it at that price.

Just like the Original "Mint". I really don't have anything bad to say about Jack Black's Lip Balms. They moisturize the lips and doesn't chap over time. The lemon & chamomile gives it that amazing 'flavouring' but it's not overpowering.

Expensive but worth it. Found this product about 2 years ago, and haven't had dry lips or cracked lips since. They have been soft ever since. Use it only a few times a day.

My bf won't wear this, for whatever reason - likely because the tube looks like lip gloss. It does have a Vaseline-texture but it's super moisturizing. I think the Lemon & Chamomile is my favourite flavour. It's so simple and soothing.

This lip balm smells great, not too strong like lip balms geared toward women. It's also easy to apply. I find that this is great when your lips are smooth, but less amazing when you have chapped lips. It is a little greasy (think Vaseline), so it doesn't feel so great when you have chapped lips. However, it definitely helps moisturize your lips, it isn't sticky, and a little bit goes a long way.

This reminds me of a great tasting clear lip gloss! And for that purpose, I love it.
In terms of moisturizing it's not bad (it reminds me of The Body Shop Lip Balms), but it definitely doesn't do as well of a job as my HG Burt's Bees Beeswax Lip Balm.
One thing I do like is that it tastes so yummy!
The Jack Black Lemon & Chamomile tastes like a lemon tart to me and I always love having good flavoured lip balms around.
A bonus is that it has SPF25 for sun protection, which is one up from my HG Burt's Bees Beeswax Lip Balm that doesn't contain any sunscreen. As an aside I have used the Burt's Bees Sun Protecting SPF 8 Lip Balm but I really don't find that white overcast that it gives my lips very attractive.
One thing I wanted to note is that the Jack Black Lemon & Chamomile reminds me of a nice lip gloss. What I mean by that is that it gives my lips a lip gloss type of shine. I don't mind that at all, but Jack Black products are marketed towards men and the men I know don't sport glossy lips typically.
I would definitely repurchase the Jack Black Intense Therapy Lip Balm SPF25 with Lemon & Chamomile because I love a good tasting lip balm and it's great to carry around in my purse since it has SPF. But if my lips need a good moisturizer, I go right back to my HG Burt's Bees Beeswax Lip Balm.
