It really works

I was given a travel kit containing both the shampoo and conditioner from this range and have been really impressed with them both. My hair has always been extremely fine so volume has always been a problem, more so as I've got older. This product made a noticeable difference from the first use and is now a firm favourite. Rich, creamy and a pleasure to use, it feels like a premium product.

Volumising Conditioner

The John Frieda Luxurious Volume Conditioner is packaged in a similar way to the shampoo with a 250ml flip-top tube in black and aqua-marine. Whilst I understand about branding, I thought it would be very easy to mix up the two products accidentally especially with your head in a basin! Perhaps a stripe of a different colour on the tube would aid identification. The product states it 'features an innovative, clear formula with Protein-Strength complex. Without heavy ingredients, it detangles and weightlessly absorbs in hair...infused with body and strength for a new level of volume.'
Having very fine hair, I was keen to try it out and know the problem well of a conditioner leaving my hair flat and greasy. Like the shampoo, this had a floral/fruity scent but again no specific fragrances listed on the ingredients list. I thought the clear gel was different to the usual creamy conditioners I use and set to work to apply it to my hair after shampooing. I found it stickier than cream conditioners and slightly harder to distribute through my hair to the ends, meaning I ended up using more than I intended, however It did wash out quite easily. Afterwards, my hair did feel stronger and had more volume and a nice fresh scent which lasted until the next wash and it was not weighed down. I will continue to use it in conjunction with the other products in the range and I am pleased it lived up to the claims for the product.

it works

i just try this shampoo and conditioner, my hair is usually flat and thin. it does give it some volume after using it for a while. a bit expensive, i buy it as a treat for myself

I received a sample in the mail of this product it's awesome I love how it made my hair look voumized and more full soft to the touch and more manageable leaving behind this fabulous scent on my hair

Like the shampoo, I Love it. I love how it makes my hair feel and enjoy the smell. John Frieda has the best products with awesome quality.. You can't go wrong here, worth every dime:)

Works great, nice volume, great scent

After spending a week in the woods camping it was such a pleasure to be able to use the shampoo and conditioner. It smells great and worked like a charm. My hair was refreshed and looking wonderful

An okay conditioner

This just seemed like any other conditioner to me. I didn't feel it added anything to my hair routine so I can't recommend it. The scent was nice and it worked well enough, just nothing special if you know what I mean. I certainly didn't see any volume added or anything like that. And I've tried other John Frieda conditioners and they were just better than this.

This gave great life and detangling to my super long hair. It also smelled great. I think I prefer the sheer blonde line but his is pretty good too.

I've used the shampoo and conditioner as a sample and I really did enjoy the feeling of fuller hair ! Combined with the volumizing spray, it truly worked wonders on fine hair!
