Fun addition to sensory fun

Thanks once again to Spinmaster and Butterly for the opportunity to review this new Kinetic Sand, SquishBlossom Blooming Flower 🌺 with 8oz Neon Yellow & Pink Play Sand for free in exchange for my honest opinion. My kids love kinetic sand I think it's such a great sensory alternative when it's snowing and raining out and you can't get outside to use the sandbox. This flower is a neat idea but we did find it a bit hard to manipulate. You place the mold on top of the foam and carefully remove to show a flower. Transferring the flower from the foam proved to be tricky. My kids loved it all the same and enjoyed doing the smaller molds. This could be a great addition to an Easter basket!

Great for tactile play for a child!

Kinetic sand is a really cool concept as an activity for tactile stimulation and play for toddlers and school aged children. This is a lovely kinetic sand activity that I feel works well as an add on or in conjunction to other kinetic sand activities. It is limited in its use as you can make the flower activity and a couple of moulds but it’s great as an additional activity as we have other colours and tools and love kinetic sand. I agree with the age suggestion on this toy being 5+. My daughter who is almost 2 cannot use this toy and it is rather difficult. My son is 5 and needed a little bit of assistance but enjoys the mould and creating the blooming flower which looks really cool! It does come with 2 colours so it’s a nice amount for this activity in particular. The little ball that helps make the shape gets rather messy and sticky and cant be washed, only wiped down so keep this in mind. It’s really cute, can be played with again and again and would be nice as a stocking stuffer or gift for a child!
