I don't regret splurging on this foundation

As someone with a light skintone and olive undertone, it is extremely difficult to find a foundation that isn't too pink or orange. I've tried many foundations but the Aqua foundation in shade 213 has been the perfect undertone (although it's a slight bit too dark). It is very forgiving on my super dry skin that is using tret. It has a very skin-like texture and lasts all day without needing powder or any setting sprays. While it is pricey, I've yet to find anything else that matches as well as this and looks good on my skin.

Skin-Like Foundation

I absolutely love the sleek, minimalistic packaging and original formula of the Koh Gen Do Aqua Foundation. I took this beauty for a spin on my skin again today in the shade 123 which is almost a perfect match. I had forgotten just how luminous and skin-like (without being overly dewy) this foundation appears on the skin. It provides the perfect amount of sheer to medium buildable coverage without looking cakey (full coverage ladies, this is NOT the one for you). This wears impeccably well throughout an 8-10 hour day depending on what you wear underneath (primer or not). I prefer to wear this one sans primer. This product is cruelty free and does not contain artificial colors, fragrance, or mineral oils (and that makes me feel good about putting this on my skin)! I haven’t checked out the reformulated version yet. That’s on my to-do list.

Overall thoughts: If you have oily skin, you may still like this but may want to set with a powder. This is a bit on the pricey side but WORTH IT (if you can find your shade).

Holy Grail Foundation!

This is my Number 1 foundation, This gives my skin a beautiful luminous finish and the best part its long lasting. It feels so light on the skin that you feel like your not wearing any foundation. This works best when applied with a damp beauty blender. Yes its on the pricy side but its so worth it.
