I own Lolita and bow n arrow and although I love the colours, I find KVD liquid lipstick formula to be super drying. Maybe I have super dry lips but I feel like after 3-4 hours I need to take it off. They are super long wearing and I do need to use makeup remover to completely take them off but if you don't find the dryness definitely recommend them. I constantly apply clear lip balm on top to fight the dryness.

All-time favourite liquid lipstick. Stays on until you wipe it off, colour suits most people and skintones. It is easy to apply, and the packaging is fabulous.

While I do love the colour options of these lipsticks I find them extremely drying. They are quite long lasting, though not as long lasting as other liquid lipsticks that I've tried. Overall I do not find these high enough quality to justify the price. I will not purchase these again.

This was my first purchase of a Kat von d everlasting liquid lipstick and definitely won't be my last! Love the formula, it goes on very easily and is not drying like I find the colour pop liquid lipsticks are. The only issue I had was that it faded in the middle of my lips after a couple of hours but still had a it of staining. At $24 it is on the slightly higher end of the scale for liquid lipsticks however I would pay for the quality! Now to choose my next colour...

I got the colour Lolita which I absolutely love. The consistency is slightly drying, and it's best to apply to lips that have been recently exfliated. It lasts for several hours, but for me doesn't last through eating.

I've never tried a liquid lipstick before, but I've been wanting to try one. I love Kat Von D's makeup so I figured I would try one of hers.

I bought the shade Backstage Bambi. I am a huge fan of bright lipsticks, particularly bright pink. This is so gorgeous! Because I've never applied a liquid lipstick, I expected I might have some difficulty with the application due to the fact that they dry so quickly and you have to work fast. I actually managed surprisingly well, and didn't make much of a mess at all.

This is a very thin formula, but it's extremely highly pigmented. I didn't have to go over my lips too much to get an even application. It does dry incredibly quickly, so by the time I moved on to another area of my mouth, the colour had already dried somewhere else. It dries down 100% matte, absolutely zero shine, and zero transfer.

It feels like you're wearing nothing at all, which may deter some people who prefer to rub their lips together and feel something there. You can always top it with a lip balm, to provide more comfort. This can feel slightly drying on the lips, but nothing too terrible. If you already have dry lips, though, you may not like it, as it will accentuate the fact.

I'm so impressed by the colour on this that I want to buy more shades. At the current price point, I can't really afford to do that very often, but as a treat every now and then, I can build a very small collection of favourites over time.

Kat Von D has (to date) released 27 stunning liquid lipsticks in the widest range of colours I have ever laid my eyes on. They run for $24CAD, only available at Sephora or online. I got a hold of Santa Sangre in August and wanted to give my solid two-cents into this holy grail of lipstick.

TEXTURE:
The formula is beautiful and lightweight! It didn't seem to rest in any of my premature lip lines or make my lips look small or shrivelled (BONUSSS). So that's a big thumbs up for me. Tips and tricks - put an eos lip balm on, do your makeup, and pad off the excess before application - it makes your long wear liquid lipstick's life so much more comfortable and not at all rough.

LONGWEAR
I wore this today...for 6 hours. I ate and drank and did my absolute best not to touch it...AT ALL. Jeez was that hard. The corners of my lips did feather out, but I didn't have to retouch the bottom or top lines, which was a huge relief to me. The colour faded slightly from the inside of my lips but other than that, thumbs up from me! Disclaimer: I ate everything with a fork or through a straw!

And the colour...the pigmentation...*shakes head* just can't believe how amazing this is.

The biggest downfall? The brush. It has a lipgloss-like applicator that isn't extremely forgiving to clumsy people like me who get too excited for lipstick and put too much on their wand, creating those blotchy, sticky messes. Still not the worst wand in the world!

Will buy more. Next to grab is the shade "Berlin"

Love this color! I feel sassy and vampy when I wear it. It goes on really well and lasts a long time. I would recommend reapplying at least around the lip line after a meal or a drink. Not because of th quality but because of the regular maintenance of wearing a dark lip. I love this product!

This is a great matte long lasting lip color. It is a little drying so I make sure to really moisturize my lips with a hydrating mask before using this. The coverage is excellent - a little goes a long way. The color is true to the bottle and the coverage is very even. I do not need a lip pencil to use this, it doesn't bleed at all! My only complaint is that they are never on the shelves long enough so the shade I tried wasn't super flattering but I still wear it when I am attending an important function. It barely rubs off on glasses or after a few smooches!

I tried this product after a friend recommend it and i LOVE it! the brush is easy to use and the formula is smooth and long lasting. I can use this product all night and only re apply once or twice. Although it feels like it dries up my lips and it does not make your lips look dry!
