I purchased this contour brush when I first purchased my Kat Von D Shade + Light contour palette. It was recommend to use this brush with it.

The brush looks great. It is shiny black with duel ends. One end has a fluffy angled brush for contouring with the darker shades, and the other is a more round fluffy end for highlighting with lighter shades.

The brush comes in a plastic black case to keep it safe in, which is great and very useful for travelling. However the case is really hard to open I find. I've spent minutes just trying so hard to open it.

I gave 4 stars for quality because the brush seems to be a quality brush, the bristles never fray and easy to clean and maintain.

However the brush for some reason just does not seem to apply the makeup nicely to my face. It seems I have to push a lot of the powder into the brushes before it actually shows up when I brush it on my cheeks.

The angled side for contouring works a lot better than the other end of the brush.

The brush is a bit too big though, it spreads product out ok too much of my face once I actually get some on there.

I ended up using this brush for blush, because I have tried dollar store brushes that work so much better for contouring. And this brush was pretty expensive.

I was dissapointed.
