summer glow!

full disclaimer that i received this product for review!
i'm quite familiar with l'occitane's almond shower oil- i love that their new body oil has a touch of shimmer & glow- it feels so lush and moisturizing for the summer! i will say, that just like the original, the almond scent is quite strong- if you're sensitive to scents then this will likely be too much to handle

I’m Obsessed with this L’Occitane Almond Shimmering Oil. It really does absorbe quickly into the skin! Leaves my skin feeling so so nourished and so soft!! with a beautiful subtle veil of shimmer I will say I was expecting the shimmer to be less subtle .. I could use moreeee shimmer but it’s amazing for everyday as it’s not GLITTERY and in your face! NOW… THE SMELL.. THE SMELL IS AMAZING!! 🤤 I want everything in my life to smell like this!!

Beautiful glowy summer skin

I like how scent of the oil and the glitter doesn’t transfer to my other clothes. Also, it looks natural glow not the fake glitter that sticks to one spots

Glittery and nice packaging

The packaging is so pretty! It’s glass and feels like it’s made of good quality. You have to squirt some on your hands and then rub it and apply. I just squirt it directly on my skin and then rub which was a bit more messy.

Sparkle all day

I find this product to be very good! It looks very pretty in the bottle! It adds a nice subtle sparkle to the skin. The only thing is I would not recommend using immediately after getting a self tan because the oil that accumulated in my inner elbow was kinda coloured by my tan.

Subtle glow

I definitely was expecting it to shine a little bit more than it really did so if you would really like something subtle , that’s not over glittery and oily. This is definitely a good oil to go for. I don’t feel like the fragrant is strong like other people claim to be. It’s just the perfect light fragrant oil. I did keep my skin hydrated and smelling good for hours.!

Soft glow, luxe scent, but slightly greasy

I was really excited to try L’Occitane’s Shimmering Almond Oil for that effortless summer glow. In the bottle, it looks absolutely beautiful — golden, radiant, and full of promise. On the skin, the shimmer is much more subtle. It catches the light nicely in the sun, but I was hoping for a bit more visible glow like what you see in the packaging.

The scent is lovely. It’s lightly sweet with that signature almond warmth. It isn’t overpowering and blends nicely with perfume, which I really appreciated.

The texture is where it fell short for me. While it does leave the skin feeling soft and hydrated, I found it a little too greasy. It didn’t fully absorb and tended to sit on top of the skin, which led to some transfer.

Overall, this is a luxurious product with a soft shimmer and a beautiful scent. It’s probably best for days when you want to feel extra pampered and don’t mind a bit of residue. Not something I’d use every day, but definitely a treat for the senses.

Its a good Product

This oil is a beautiful fusion of skincare and subtle glamour. What sets it apart is the addition of fine, golden shimmer particles that give your skin a healthy, radiant glow without being overly glittery or sticky. However, if you have very sensitive skin or prefer fragrance-free products, the scent and shimmer might not be for you.

Perfect texture!

I loved the presentation of this oil, it looks and feels luxurious from the moment you open it. Applying it, massaging it in, and smelling it is truly an experience.
