It was okay and not oily

it felt great on my skin. it was not oily at all and after multiple pumps, i got a really nice glow that i loved. The reason why it is not 5 star for me is that i wish the gold flakes were more visible.

Love the smell and shimmering

The shimmering oil smells so good, like soft almonds and that perfect clean, summer scent. Texture is Soft, hydrated, and leaves radiant skin , HOWEVER I noticed after a couple hours the effect just vanish and don’t last for long , I feel it just absorb very quickly and then I didn’t notice the glow after some time

Glow not shimmer

The product Smells good and it feels nourishing on the skin, but I would say it gives a nice glow as opposed to a shimmer. Lovely for a night out though.

Moisturizing, smells heavenly and shimmers!

I’m a huge fan of L’Occitane products, especially from their Amande line. This particular Shimmering Oil with Amande leaves my skin feeling so smooth that I don’t want to stop touching it! It also smells so delicious, but the scent isn’t overpowering.

The oil is light and quickly absorbed. The shimmer is very subtle once the oil is absorbed, which is fine with me. However, I noticed that the shimmer doesn’t last as long as I would have liked. I tested it out and it maybe lasted about an hour and a half.

Regardless, I’d still use this product for the immediate shimmer, moisturizing effect and the scent. It would look great for a photoshoot or a party if you’re wearing a halter top or armless dress and can show your collar bones or shoulders. It gives a very “golden goddess” vibe.

I can’t wait to use it more this summer at some fun events.

I also love that L’Occitane sources their ingredients sustainably (this almond oil is from Provence and the Mediterranean basin) and packages their products in recyclable or refillable containers. This oil comes in a glass bottle with an easy-to-use pump. I appreciate skincare products with practical designs as someone who has had joint issues in the past and found it difficult to get products out of certain containers.

This Shimmering Oil will definitely be a new luxury skincare staple for me.

Shimmer glow!

The perfect body oil shimmer for the summer! It’s super hydrating, smells like a dream and it makes my skin super soft! The shimmer it’s very beautiful and it’s not too much on the skin. I just wished there kore of a glitter effect otherwise it’s perfect!
