this product is designed to be a setting powder, but i find it works better as a powder foundation.
when applied over foundation, i think it makes my face look cakey and unever. but alone on a day where i'm too lazy for makeup, it really provides even, medium coverage & looks great!

This powder is amazing! For a drugstore product, it offers great coverage. The formula for the true match powder is very unique - it starts off as a powder, and it almost liquifies into your skin as you brush it on. It's flawless! There are many different colours to choose from, which means that there is a hue for everyone. I have gone through 3 or 4 of these compacts. They're easy to carry around in your purse; they come with a mirror and a sponge. They're inexpensive too, which makes it great for revamping your makeup look throughout different seasons. A definite must in an cosmetic bag.

This is the best make-up!! I'd never use anything else. I have scarring on my face from acne so I a little need more coverage. This compact is great becasue it gives you the ability to have little to full coverage. This is great an evening out skin tone and gives a great matte look. Its soo easy to apply, nothing to mess up and can be used on its own or I also use it on top of liquid foundation as a concealer. I can't say enough good things! It's a bit pricey but so so worth it. There's also a ton of colours!

This is in my opinion the best drugstore powder that you can get. The colour range is pretty good, so you can get whatever skintone you have: cool, warm or neutral. It has a silky, smooth feel. I use this primarily as a setting powder over the true match liquid foundation. It can oxidize throughout the day so that is my only one con of this product, so perhaps trying a shade lighter would be a good idea if oxidizing is a problem for you. I use W2, light ivory, the same colour as the one that I use in the liquid version.

When using a liquid foundation, the compressed powder goes well with blending with my correct skin tone seamlessly. The feeling is weightless, you won't even notice that your wearing it, I always purchase L'oreal true match. With my fair complextion I've had difficulty finding the right tone of compressed powder - until I found true match that is.

the texture of this makeup is actually very smooth and light. It’s not heavy on the face and it blends in very nicely. Although I like how compact everything is, I wish the mirror wasn’t on the bottom where the sponge is because it gets dirty very fast. Also I have to constantly flip the makeup to see the mirror to apply it on my face, and flip it again to get more products, quite annoying.

I found this product so good to just brush on over some foundation for a really great natural look.

I love this foundation. It is an average price, more product than you think. Lasts for quite a while. The only deceiving part is that you still need to match your skin tone almost exactly to the color on the package. The "true match" has never really shown itself to me, I see no difference from other nice foundations.

When I use this I also don't have to use powder or concealer.

So my friend had got this first, and she really seemed to like it. when i went to the store to buy it it was like $9 or $10 :O (gawd! drugstore makeup...) but i do luv it! and it lasts quiet awhile. i got mine like in what march and its still full. (i use it everyday!) i also like how if you flip it over it comes with one of those make-up sponges and a mirror. hey two less things i have to carry around right :P

So bottom line luv it, will keep buyin it, and i think you should too :D

This is by far the best powder I've used. I have very oily skin and it's so good at mattifying it and taking away shine. It also is great at coverage too, it has more colour to it than other powders. It comes in a variety of colours and I like the "True Match" brand because it makes it easier to find the right colour as your skin darkens and lights with the seasons. The only con would be the price but it's worth it!
