I was really please to be able to try this as part of the product review club :)
I've been looking for a conditioner that leaves my hair soft and silky. This one does exactly what it says! My hair was still kinda frizzy, but no near as much as it usually is. And when I straightened my hair, the ends weren't very dry at all. After using this product several times I can definitely say that it has strengthened my hair a lot and has left it feeling a lot more healthy. My hair in general is less frizzy and dry, and I don't get much hair fall out when I brush my hair anymore. The only inconvenience with this product is that you have to apply it to towel-dried hair, but after how well it's left my hair it isn't too big of an issue!
I would definitely recommend this to anyone with dry, damaged hair. However, I probably wont be buying this again since it is quite expensive.
Thank you chick advisor! I cant say im to overly impressed :( I wa super excied to try the product so as soon as i got it I went and jumped in the shower, while shampooing my hair i read the directions and it says to aply to towel dried hair so I wasnt so happy to have to stick my head out of the shower to towel dry and then continue.I hated the smell it has to much of a perfumey/chemical, smell super rich and creamy you dont need a whole lot but what I did notice was I had a hell of a time rincing it out after the three min i never felt like I quite got it all and it made my whle body feel pretty slimy in the process. I can honestly say that I havnt noticed much of a difference in my hair my ends are still super super dry but the rest of my hair is super soft I had a super easy time brushing it after. so all in all its not to bad of a product but not one that id use on a regular basis, and i dont know about anyone else but both bottles i got under ingredents it has aqua/water but water is blacked out with a sharpi I had to scrach it off to read it if it was the company that did it I dont think its very professional at all.
Editor's Note: L'Oreal Professionnel has informed ChickAdvisor that the 'blacking out' of one product ingredient is due to a translation oversight on the packaging and is in no way intended to be deliberately misleading. The blacked out ingredient is "water".
Unfortunately I didn’t care for the L’Oreal Professionnel Intense Repair Masque at all. My hair type may have something to do with this. Its two feet long, thin, straight as a pin and tends to get oily on top, but is very dry ever where else. First the masque tells you to shampoo your hair then towel dry it before applying the masque to your hair, then rinse it out after waiting two or three minutes. Having to wash my hair in the shower, get out towel dry it and then bend over the tub to rinse the masque out was something I found hard to do because I have a very bad back and neck. It was also way too much work then I like to do, especially when the results I got weren’t very good at all. If I were in a salon and had someone else doing it for me while I sat in a chair, it would make it much easier on me, but still not worth the cost when I got the results that I did. I even tried just squeezing out as much water as I could while still in the shower, adding the masque and rinsing it out instead of getting out of the shower, but I still ended up with the same type of results. My hair was so full of knots every time I used both the shampoo and the masque that it took me twenty minutes each time to get through my long hair. When it was dry it was fuzzy on the bottom and laid flat on top. It just didn’t look healthy at all, in fact it looked worse then it did before I started using it. So unfortunately I wouldn’t recommend the L’Oreal Professionnel Intense Masque to anyone with the same hair type as mine. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to try both products ladies, but it just didn’t work out for me.
I feel like I enjoyed the hair mask much more than the shampoo because when I use this I saw a difference in how soft it made my hair whereas with the shampoo not so much. I like the texture of this product because it was very creamy and it felt pretty weightless in my hair like I didn't put any product on it to begin with. I liked that as I was washing it out of my hair that it started to feel much softer. My hair tends to be naturally flat but I felt as if this made my hair feel much more clean and I got volume much easier. My hair tends to be drier on the ends and I felt like after using this that it was much softer. I also let my sister use this product who has really hay like hair and she absolutely loved it she felt a noticeable difference in her hair right away!
I received this along with the L'Oreal shampoo as part of the product review club. I really liked the shampoo, but I am on the fence about the masque. I leave it in my hair for like half an hour, more than 2 - 3 minutes like what the instruction suggests. It does really moisturize my hair but I think it moisturizes too well! Yes, I think there is such thing. It leaves my hair rather heavy and feels oily. It feels oily right after my wash and my hair gets dirty faster. It feels like I did not rinse it properly and left residue in my hair. I thought maybe I really didn't rinse it out right the first 2 times so I made sure to thoroughly rinse it and the same result still appears. I'm not used to my hair feeling so heavy because my hair is normally damaged and thin so maybe this is a good thing and that it shows my hair is being coated with moisture. Overall, I think many people would highly benefit from this masque but I am not sure how I feel about it quite yet.
i used along with the shampoo i only use it on the ends of my hair to see if it would help with the split ends i have been getting i did notice a difference but i did find it made my hair a little heavy when combined with the shampoo mabe its too much going on i didnt notice it make a huge difference in making my hair soft or silky but i will continue to use it for my split ends and the smell wasnt too bad at first when i opened the jar i thought i woudnt like it because it had a perfumey scent but i put a little on my finger and it died down and smelled kind of fruity
I am glad I got to be part of the clickadvisor reviewer of this product. I love the smell, kind of like coconut, but not over powering. I rub and them comb it into my hair. It says to leave it in for a few minutes but I left it in for 30 min ever other day. My split ends are less noticeable and my hair isn't all dry and brittle anymore. I LOVE how soft my hair is after it dries, I've never felt it feel this great before.
I do not know the price of this product so I can not comment on this. But I'd pay more then the store brands for it.
FIRST IMPRESSIONS
I used this in conjunction with the L'Oreal Professional Intense Repair Shampoo. I really liked this mask. It did make my hair feel noticeably moisturized. As mentioned in the Shampoo review, I was not really too fond of the smell. It smelled almost plasticy to me.
OVERALL
I did enjoy this hair mask, actually probably more than the shampoo. The one thing I noticed was that it was kind of heavy on my hair. After I rinsed it out, it felt soft, just heavy. It may be because I have thinner hair. Also, just in my opinion, I don't really like rinse out masks. :P I think it may be my laziness, but I don't like to dry my hair, and then hop back into the shower to rinse it out. I've used leave-in masks that have worked comparable to this product.
Pros:
-Moisturizes hair
Cons:
-Smell
-My personal dislike for rinse out masks
I rate this product 8/10
Thanks to Chick Advisor for the opportunity to try this product.
I used the masque after using L'Oreal Professional Intense Repair Shampoo and liked the results. My hair felt light and soft. The masque smells fruity but I found the scent a touch stronger than the shampoo. The masque is creamy and rich but rinses off easily. The only downside for me: having to put it on towel dried hair. Once I'm out of the shower, I want to dry my hair and go, so having to go back and rinse again is cumbersome.
I've tried the masque in combination with the Intense Repair shampoo. .I have long hair that have been colored many times and they get dry very often especially in the winter. So i was looking to be amazed (especially for the price) and i was!My hair feels soft, lightweight and most important of all for me, it was easy to detangle
I'm not sure about the scent it's kinda smells fruity but by using just a little bit once in a while, i would get used to it.
I've tried a lot of those hair masque such as Ojon and many times i have been left with oily hair. This one was very easy to rinse out and didn't leave my hair feeling heavy
