This book is a huge part of my life and is everything to me. My mom read would read to me and it was her favourite too. When she got sick with cancer and was dying I would read the to her to calm her down. Like I said this book means everything to me

This is definitely a storybook every home should have! I had my parents read this to me when I was younger and now I have one for my son. It has a wonderful story behind it and recently there was an article released on why Robert Munsch wrote it. Sad but amazing and everyone should research it! I think it is one of the most well known books! So nicely written and the pictures are great too. I believe you can buy it for around $20 but it is worth the buy trust me.

Best book ever. I remember it as a child and plan on reading it to my children. A very heartfelt story that sticks with you in life after reading it.

I remember my parents and other family members reading this book to me as a kid, and really enjoying it. Now I am reading it to my nieces and nephews and they love it! The message is so powerful and a good one for adults and kids alike. I recently read an article about the reasoning behind why Munsch wrote this...I won't spoil it but encourage you to look it up!

My favourite children's books by far. Would definitely recommend it to anyone and everyone. When I have kids one day, I will be reading this to them :)

My mom read this to me all the time when I was a child/kid. I didn't fully understand it back then, I just liked the song. Now that I know what the book is actually about, holy, I bawled. I can't wait to have a kid and read this gem to them.

This book makes me cry EVERY time I read it. My mother bought it for my grandmother, and I have purchased it for my sons. There is something about the cycle of life and sons caring for mothers that is so poignant. This is not typical, goofy Munsch. One of my favourites.

This book has been with both my kids ages 15 and 11....I love this book and my children love this book. It always makes me sad when I read it and then I think of my own mother. Everyone needs to own this book and keep it for their grandkids. It is such a special book and makes a person think twice of how fast time can go by....because you never know what tomorrow will bring.

One of my favorite children's books. I used to read it all the time to my kids and have cried a thousand times! Such a beautiful story. I have also bought it as a gift for many kids and all the mom's have thanked me.
