LUSH Tea Tree Water Reviews
#142 in Toner

Description

Suffering from spots, blackheads or excess oil? Don’t fret! And most importantly, don’t use a toner laden with skin irritating alcohol. Blemish-prone skin if often more sensitive than we like to give it credit for. Treating breakouts with alcohol can actually further the problem! Our suggestion? Gently, but effectively, treat your skin with Tea Tree Water. The antiseptic tea tree oil clears out blemish causing bacteria, while grapefruit and juniper water balance oil production. Spritz your face with Tea Tree water throughout the day to refresh and keep oil under control. See? Things are looking better already.

I love this product! It really does what it says. It keeps blemishes under control and it's so great for freshening up your face when you are feeling dull. I'll admit that there are days when I am just too lazy to properly wash my face so this is great on a cotton pad to wipe away dirt or just spray directly on. Ideally, it is most effective after cleansing and that it my favorite method of using it.

Having acne prone skin, I indulged in Lush's toner water which contains tea tree, grapefruit and juniper berry. I use it twice a day and I enjoy its scent. Will recommend it to a friend.

I always use this product when I feel oily, or have breakouts. It's very refreshing to use and significantly helps my acne. This is good if you sometimes struggle with acne and would like a natural, soothing alternative to harsh chemicals. However if you have very bad acne it may not be powerful enough. You can use this for chest and back acne also.

I have really sensitive combination skin and most toners seem too harsh for my skin because of all the alcohol in it but I loved this one - super gentle, not drying, and my skin just felt 'cleaner' and lighter after regular application of this. It's pretty inexpensive as well and I love that lush uses mostly natural products

I really liked this toner/refresher. It was fantastic for after I had washed my face! I would use it then and then apply a moisturizer. It was also great for a pick me up during the day. The price isn't bad, as it takes a while to go through a bottle, even when using it every day, since it's a spritz bottle. I'd recommend this product.

I find that this toner is not as effective as my regular drug store brand toner; the tea tree water does not seem to remove makeup and oils as well as drug store brands. However, I really like how gentle the Tea Tree Toner is on my skin; the product is not harsh and does not dry out my skin or strip away natural oils. The toner removes some blackheads (after multiple uses) and leaves my skin feeling soft and refreshed. Bottom Line: I'm on the fence about repurchasing this product or not. I like that the toner doesn't contain alcohol, but the effectiveness is quite mild for me.
