This is one of my favorite little kitchen tools. It has a permanent place at my kitchen sink! It is so handy to have after working with meat so I can clean my hands without contaminating everything! Now if only my kitchen faucet was hands free as well!
I also love all the new scents being released!!
It comes in handy after I am handling about anything and you don't want to get your taps al dirty for a second job.
It comes in handy after I am handling raw meat, however, it goes off by itself a lot and spills soap all over my countertops. I would personally rather touch a "dirty soap pump" than pay $6.00 a week for a refill. If it had been refillable, I would definately give it 5 stars.
I got this for free with a mail in rebate program they did awhile back.
The only pro about this machine is in the kitchen when my hands are really messy I don't have to touch anything to get soap.
I think I got a defective machine because this thing dispenses 2-3 times every time I use it! I tried cleaning the sensor, I tried changing the battery, nothing worked. Due to it dispensing so much it wastes a lot of soap. Even if it did work properly I find it dispenses too much in one "pump" so I have to fill it often if I use it regularly. I originally had it in the bathroom but got tired of refilling it so often since it wasted so much soap so I moved it into the kitchen for when I need to wash my hands after touching raw meat. This is it's only redeeming factor.
In general I think it's pretty gimmicky, going to pick up one of those foaming pump hand soaps for my bathroom.
I have this in my kitchen too! I like that I don't have to touch anything to get some soap to wash my hands. It dispenses just enough soap so you don't use it up too fast. There are Lysol refills available, but my little thrifty secret is that you can refill them with any hand soap.
Be careful where you place the dispenser, as any motion close to the front of it will make it spit out some soap.
This product is wonderful especially in your kitchen! Whenever I handle meat it is great not to have to grab a soap bottle or touch your taps. One squirt of this and your hands are ready to rinse! It smells really good too!
I have always used liquid soap but I love the no touch system especially in the kitchen when I'm up to my elbows in something. No need to touch the pump!!!
I tried the lysol no touch system many months ago when there was a mail in rebate to try it for free and i am glad i did! I have one in the bathroom as well as in the kitchen! I LOVE It in the kitchen as i am always worried about contaminating soap dispensers when i am handling raw meat! the refills themselves are costly however i use a squeeze bottle to fill them (with whatever soap i can get cheaply through sale/coupons!) they are a little time consuming to fill ( my husband cheats when they are empty and steals the one from the other sink that is full, and leaves the filling up to me ;) i have noticed that once in a while the sensor becomes covered with soap.... which results in soap being dispensed when there is no one there. But all you have to do is wash the sensor and this resolves!
I love my Lysol dispenser for a few reasons, first and foremost I don't have to fuss about washing the dispenser as frequently as you do not touch it at all it runs by a sensor and dispenses just the right amount of soap. My kids love it they think it's neat and that they are able to do it all by themselves. We currently have one in all our 4 bathrooms they often go on sale for a great price I got ours for 6.99 each and if you are lucky enough to have the coupons for them you can get the for much cheaper. Although I would have paid full price for this as we get lots of use out of it and it's so convienient. Since we've had the we have yet to have to change the battery in any of them. I think whoever tries this product will wonder how they ever lived without it.
