The Mac prep and prime face protector with 50 spf came in a timely manor. The wrapping was very nice with tissue paper. It came in a Mac box also. I have used this product for over a year now and I am in love with it. I was using Stila which I also love but there is no competition up against this face primer. It leaves my face slightly dewey and shimmery. The foundation is much easier to apply. It seals and protects my skin all day long. A product I cannot live without!

Gotta love MAC!! The face primer is great for making your make-up last all day and it has SPF!

I Do not like this product!

First off, HUGE lover of MAC and majority of their makeup line...But this is one product I can not say I enjoy.

First off it says SPF 50, now I have tan skin naturally so I hardly need sun screen when it comes to burning, but I still apply it before going out in the summer time. I use this one all summer and it did not work! I ended up getting my first burn on my face :( But the rest of my body which hadnt any sun screen that day did not burn....Maybe it was just one bad experience and something I did? But from my point of view this product is not worth it!

It also leaves my skin very oily , I sometimes get an oily t zone so this product doesnt help that.

It has a little bit of shimmer in it so if your into that and do not have sensitive or oily skin this might be the product for you, but definitely did not enjoy!

MAC prep prime is a great snatch for the summer! Keeps your makeup on and plus it's SPF 50! A great bonus. The only thing I don't like about it, is the packaging. When it starts to disapear, its hard to get the great stuff out of the bottle. I'm the person to use every last drop too. I eventually cut the tube in half and just scooped the rest out. A bottle lasted me the whole summer. Since when i'm out swimming i dont wear any makeup, but I loved to use it for going out for the day. It's 30ml. Great product.

MAC Prep and Prime Protect SPF 50 is a great primer if you are looking for a primer and a sunscreen all in one. It makes my pores look smaller and my makeup lasts all day. It is also good for keeping the shine down. I find now that when I do not use it, my face looks too shiny by midday.

I learned that the trick is not to use too much, otherwise it will not absorb well. What I do is dab little dots on it on certain points of my face and then blend it in. Add more if needed.

I think next time I might try a different primer, just so I can compare quality. I would say that the overall the product is quite effective.
