The colour is very striking. I got the poppy please and its a tint of orange and red. Bright popping colour. Definitely good for a might or special day out. Colour comes on immediatetly. I would use a lip balm prior to applying this.

I am in love with gel and semi matte formula. Try as I may I can't wear full matte lippies....so this is the perfect compromise !!!! Time to browse the mk site

This lipstick glides on smoothly. I can feel the lovely lipbalm feel of it, it is very moisturizing. I love the vibrant colours, but I had to use the midnight red on the poppy please to have a better tone that works for me. It's a lovely smooth lipstick.

I am loving the smoothness of this Mary Kay Gel Semi-Matte Lipstick!!! I love how smooth it glides on my lips and the colour is amazing!

Slides on really nicely and moisturizes lips well. However, I find that the lipsticks could be more pigmented, as I had to put on quite a bit to get the colour I wanted.

The colour I tried was Midnight Red. I love the colour! The colour is very rich and pigmented. The lipstick glided on very smoothly. I will definitely be wearing this often!

LOVE these lipsticks. I love the pigmentation and they glide so easily on the lips. I have usually very dry lips so I recommend a light balm underneath. The packaging is super luxe and I love there is a little window at the top to see the colour!

The Poppy Please shade is bright and cheerful, and it goes on smoothly. It's moisturizing, which saves your lips from feeling as dry as most other lipsticks. Good price for a good lipstick!

A really good moisturizing lipstick, very rare when you get a matte lipstick! Colour applies well and isn't dry! A lovely choice of red shades (love the powerful pink shade)!!

I tried Poppy Please and it went on very smooth and evenly. It was moisturizing and comfortable to wear. I enjoyed the shade a d high pigment. I just hope it wears long:)
