Lifesaver
I renovate my place pretty often, especially the flooring, and this contour gauge has been really useful. It makes measuring corners a lot easier and saves me from having to remeasure the same spot over and over.
The lock works well and keeps the shape in place so I can trace it and cut without guessing. If you do your own flooring or small home projects, this is a handy tool to have. I recommend it.
Perfect Tool You Didn’t Know you Needed
The gauge is perfect for anyone needing to measure hard areas, you are able to easily use it with one hand if needed. The 5” is perfect for small areas but if a longer gauge is required it is so easy to add additional units. Perfect tool to have in your toolbox for just in case moments.
A handy tool when you need it
The Mastercraft Connectable Contour Gauge (5 inch) is a handy little tool that lets you grab a shape and easily replicate it elsewhere. Need to do some trim work? This piece will help capture the ins and outs of your trim to keep the flow going. It's easy to use and it has the ability to link additional gauges if you need something longer. My one thought is that the accuracy would be even higher if the moveable parts were slightly thinner but honestly, that's me reaching for any con. It's a great little tool at a great price point. I did get to test this for free though.
Great product
Great product, my husband loves it! This is perfect for our projects and it’s so easy to use, perfect for every day work and it hold a great quality! I do recommend it!
Useful Contour Gauge
We do vinyl flooring, and a contour gauge is essential when we need to cut the vinyl around tricky shapes. I attached a photo as an example. I do wish this one was longer on its own, but the connectable design is a big plus - being able to add more sections makes it much more practical for bigger cuts. Overall, this will get the job done and the add-on feature makes up for the shorter length.
