Loved the results, didn't love the application

Having already thicker natural eyebrows this product is great because it works with what i already have without making my eyebrows look too harsh. However the fallout of the chalk powder makes it a bit difficult to work with. I have been keeping tissues right on top of my cheeks while I apply this to not have to rub or ruin my foundation, as this product can get messy and fall onto your face as you apply. The product it self looks very natural however the application is something to prepare for.

Great product!

At first try the powder went on too thick but I was able to figure it out quickly. It is a great product for filling in eyebrows giving them a natural full look. Two sides of wand can be used for different techniques.

A brow chalk that does a good job of filling in my brows

I received this product complimentary from Chick Advisor.
This brow chalk does a very good job of filling in your brows. It comes with a paddle-shaped foam applicator, which I didn't think was going to make application very easy. However, I was very surprised to find out that the applicator was actually very precise, at least for the front of the brow. It wasn't quite as easy for the tail. The powder itself applied very smoothly, and seemed to adhere well to my skin. The powder did not fade throughout the day. The only thing with brow powders is that you need to use a gel with them to set it down, so this is not a one-off product. But, powders do give you pretty natural-looking brows, so you will have to decide what you like best.
The only thing about this brow chalk that I did not quite like was the shade that I received. I received the shade "Soft brown", and unfortunately, this shade was just too light for my dark brown hair.
Overall, this brow chalk was pretty good and I would recommend it for those who like quick and natural-looking brows.

Bold brow product

I received this Maybelline product to try and review for free as part of ChickAdvisors Product Review Club. The idea behind the product seems so simple but I found this product very hard to work with. I received the colour Deep Brown which was a good match to my existing eyebrows. This product was very hard to apply. The brush was not user friendly and I ended up with a lot of product all over my fave. Each time I tried to use it, I would either end up washing the brows off, or spend tons of time trying to clean up my brows. If the brush were smaller, it may be easier to work with but for anyone with fair, fine or thin brows, this product will not work for you. I do not think I will be repurchasing this product.

Not the Product for Everyday Brows

While I liked the idea behind the Maybelline New York Brow Drama® Shaping Chalk™ Powder I did not like the application and did not find this to be a product that worked for my brows. I have thin brows and the shaping chalk did not work for me at all. I think that if you had thicker more dramatic brows this would be the product for you but for fair or lighter hair it’s just too much to try to work with. I also found it difficult to apply or control how the product came out with the chalk stick idea. If the powder covered too much skin it was also quite difficult to remove / clean up. I would not purchase this product again but I would maybe recommend it to friends who are really into makeup and blending and all that. A dramatic look!

First off, if you're looking to achieve a dramatic look this is the product for you!

The brush is awesome and really effortless in regards to application. I like the fact the brush is flat with a fine tip making it easy to navigate the thicker and thinner points of your brow.

I did find the chalk did have a bit of fall out as there was loose powder under my eyes after application. This wasn't a deal breaker for me though.

For me personally I would use this product when going out with my girlfriends or a date with my hubby as it's quite dramatic. I wouldn't use this product for an everyday look.

Overall I'm really happy and will be purchasing again. Thank you for the opportunity to test this awesome product ChickAdvisor.

Great filler

I received this product from Chickadvisor to review. This is the first time I've used the chalk powder on my brows and it's definitely a great filler. I did find it was a bit too powdery for myself but it's perfect for my daughter to use for her stage dance make up. I will be purchasing this for her again. Goes on easy and quick!! Great price at $11.99

Nice formula, but colour too light for me!

I was sent this product free, and will provide an honest review of my experience with the Maybelline brow drama chalk powder.

I am someone that does my brows everyday, and have used everything from eyebrow pencils, markers, gels, and powders. Powder's are some of my favorite type of formulas to use as they can be blended easily.
I received this colour in 'Soft Brown', and immediately I knew it was going to be too light for me. I would have had more luck with the 'Deep Brown' colour. If you have dark brown hair, the soft brown will be a bit too light, especially if you're someone that likes a bold brow.

The powder formula was nice, and was very easy to apply (although I did NOT use the applicator that they provide, it's much too thick to apply eyebrow product). Using a small eyebrow brush of my own worked really well, and the product did not have any fall out.

I am pretty sure I would buy this product again IF it were the darker colour.

Not really WOWing my Brows

The actual shaping chalk is a really nice product. I find it to have a better consistency, coverage and longer lasting than the similar products that are a powder. Unfortunately for me the application brush is terrible to work with. It's oddly shaped and awkward to work with. I end up having to get a q-tip to shape it into my brows so I don't look like a cartoon. Maybe if you already have nice think/full brows it will work for you. But for me there are better and easier to work with products on the market.
