This is the first mousse blush I tried and I got to say I was pretty impressed! I like it as an alternative to powder blush when I feel that my skin is dryer and that powder would just look flaky. I found that the result with mousse is a little more natural than with powder. It give a little more shine too. Don't be shy to apply a good quantity of mousse, or else colour won't show. I just wish Maybelline would offer a wider variety of mousse blush colour.
This blush works amazingly!!! The color i normally get is soft plum. This mousse is not only easy to apply but adds a hint of sparkle to your cheekbones. I highly reccomend this product.
I religiously use Maybelline Dream Mousse Blush as part of my daily routine. It is incredible versatile: it works great as a normal blush when applied under my powder foundation, and also can give a more dewy look when applied over my powder foundation. I absolutely love the hint of shimmer that it provides to add highlight and definition to cheek bones for a night out! It also blends beautifully!
I got this on a total splurge. I did NOT need another blush but I love blush and I hadn't tried anything like this before. I'm partial to powder blush. I got the Dream Mousse Blush in Rose Petal as I usually gravitate towards rose coloured blush. This one is beautful; a little bit does a lot. Literally wakes up your face and you look healthy and flushed. The texture of it allows it to disappear into your skin but it does show up. I could see this being overwhelming if you put too much on. It's also buildable which I like a lot. I usually finish my blush look with New York Color's Chroma Face Glow and I'm set for the day. This morning I put the mousse on with my face glow I didn't have to reapply blush at all. It's still right where I applied it this morning and it looks fresh and pretty. About buying it again, well, it's not cheap. I paid $7.99 and the pot is not huge. I'd buy it again on sale.
I bought this on clearance for $2.00. I loved that is was so creamy and easy to apply. The colour was also beautiful. Unfortunately, it is a bit too shimmery for my liking, so I will not be repurchasing.
It's been a while since i've used this product, but from what I can remember, it was a decent blush. I usually stick to my nars orgasm, but this dream mousse blush got me curious as to what it would be like. It does the job, but is a lot heavier than the powder blushes.
However, I do have to say that it goes on evenly and stays in place a lot longer than powder blushes. I guess we'll have to take the bad with the good?
I got this blush but I honestly don't like it. The color appears on my skin tone but it's so shimmery. I thought it would be more matte but I was wrong. It really depends on what your looking for in a blush, if you want a shimmery blush with pigment I divisive you get this, but if you want more of a matte blush with no shimmer I'd say don't waste your money. The texture is so smooth and whipped it's very creamy. You can apply it very easily with your own two fingers or blush brush.
when i first swatched this i thought whoa thats a gorgeous colour ( i got it in peach satin ). and i bought it right away. then when i got home i tried using it and i really didnt know how i can use it and im not really a girl who likes super shimmery blush. peach satin is very shimmery. so i wouldnt say it works best for me i love the colour on me and its beautiful when i use it right. it is an okay price for me but i just wish the cut down on the shimmer in this blush
After much research, I finally bought this blush in Peach Satin. I like the texture and the way it blends really easily. However, it has mostly shimmer, as opposed to pigment. It gives a nice bit of color, but if you use too much it just becomes shimmer overload. The size of the glass tub is nice, but because it's glass, it's kinda heavy. Overall a decent product, especially for those with slightly dry cheeks.
