Wasn't For Me - No Instructions Included

I have a lot of redness in my cheeks and a bit of purple under my eyes. I was hoping to use this kit to cover those issues up. Unfortunately there weren't any instructions included with the sample so I wasn't sure where to put which colour. Of course, I know how to Google and find things out but I would have preferred to get instructions directly from Maybelline. I did try putting the green on my cheeks to cover the redness but it looked unnatural and too light. I will keep playing around with it but I'm not sure I would buy it myself.

This is a face palette with 6 cream products - two for colour correcting, two for concealing and two for highlighting. I also own a BH cosmetics palette which is almost identical so I was able to compare this product to a similar one while trying this out. I think this is a great palette for someone looking to start a makeup collection or looking to start colour correcting and highlighting. The information on the back makes it really easy to know what shades to use for what. Personally I found the formula a little oily and the concealer didn't have quite as much coverage as I like, but if you're not looking for super full coverage then you probably won't mind them. I didn't have much use for the highlighting shades as I tend to only use powder highlighter. Overall I don't think that this is a bad product, I just don't think it's the one for me, so I am giving it 3 stars. I could see this working really well for some people and I hope everyone else who got to try it enjoyed it!

First of all, I want to say I don't like cream palettes. I find they get dirty quite easily and thinks stick to it! In this case, before I even opened the product I already saw black specks of dust...Aside from that...reviewing the actual product.
I also find the products average.
I think having a palette is handy on the go for MUAs or someone travelling perhaps. Personally I found it a tad too yellow for my skin tone so I wasn't able to properly wear the product for a long time to make a sound judgement.
Although I had the same problem as the stick concealer is that it has a glowy dewy finish which enhances the spots I tried to correct / conceal.
I do like the highlighter in this palette though. The colour is quite nice and it leaves a nice shimmer without it being overly sparkly.

Last thing is, I find the fluffier side of the brush quite useless. It was much better blending the products with the other flat side or my fingers!

I've been shopping around for a colour correcting kit, so this couldn't have come at a better time! I didn't want to spend a lot of money without knowing how well the colour corrector would work and if I really knew how to use it. I would definitely purchase this product as something to use while I am traveling or keep in a kit if I needed to apply or do my make up on the go. I love the packaging, its compact, sleek and the brush is also included along with the instructions on the back. The texture and consistency of the colours are great.

I was excited to try out this Camo palette because it has so many colours to collect issues that you may on your face, spots that you want to hide/conceal etc.

I like the packaging because there is no strange applicator that comes with this, which often takes up extra space and the package is slim and light.

The product works okay. I prefer my high-end correctors and concealers much more, but this was fun to try, better for days where you just want to wear light makeup.

I was sent this product, along with several other Maybelline products from the Chickadvisor Product Review Club.

I use a concealer daily to cover my dark circles, a little bit of redness around the nose and if I have any blemishes so I was really excited to try this product! I received the kit in light and the colours are a perfect match for my light neutral skin tone. The formula is really nice and creamy, blends nicely but unfortunately settles and creases under my eyes, even after applying only the smallest amount and blending with a beauty blender and setting with a powder. I also found that the product sheared out quite a bit and didn't provide a enough coverage over any blemishes or redness even with the colour correcting (unless I applied quite a bit). I will say however that I am really enjoying the highlight! It is gorgeous on top or underneath foundation, it gives a beautiful glow without being too shimmery. Overall this kit didn't suit my overall needs and I wouldn't purchase it again just for the one highlight that I enjoy using. #gotitfree

Unfortunately, this master came color correcting kit falls short. While I appreciate the instructions on the back and the gorgeous golden highlight on the bottom right, there is nothing else that worked for me.

The corrector S did not last on my oily skin. The concealers were too dark in the Deep kit (and the medium kit would have been too light). These were just too creamy to have lasting power. Also, the included brush didn't pick up the product so you might be better off using your fingers to apply.

I would say this is one of the better drugstore correcting kits but it isn't amazing at fully correcting my spots and darkness. The consistency is a little too creamy for my combo skin type- anytime I used the salmon or green colour to correct, it ended up slipping around when I put foundation on top and I would have to go over it with more product. Initially the salmon colour did a good job at neutralizing the darkness under my eyes, however when I put concealer on top of it the product started to slide around and lost it's effectiveness. Also, when I added the concealer either on top of the salmon corrector or used alone it heavily creased on my eyes because of how creamy it was (with or without setting powder). I enjoyed using the top highlighter for carving out my brows and the lower one for highlighting the top points of my face. The lower shimmer highlight gave a natural subtle pink glow which is good for daytime but I preferred it when I set it with another similar highlighting powder to add more intensity.

#gotitfree i primarily used this product to cover dark under eye circles, and it did a really effective job. I just found it was a few more steps than say using one product, so probably woulnd't use on a daily basis. I also found the applicator wasn't very useful, better to use fingers.
