I find this works really well as a brow gel. I don't have crazy unruly brows, but they do move throughout the day if I don't use this. Have already repurchased

since I am allergic to almost all mascara (due to the dye/colour) this product works for me. Enhances my (meager) lashes with irritating my sensitive eyes.

I bought this to use as brow gel, because, really... why even bother with mascara if it's clear?! I did try it as mascara just to see how it fared, and it was absolutely pointless as it really didn't do anything. As brow gel it fares pretty much the same- it doesn't really do anything. Now, my brows aren't unruly, and I don't need a lot of hold with a brow gel, but I do expect it to do something. This is so light it dries to almost nothing. You can't feel it on brows and it doesn't offer anything in terms of hold. I suppose it seals powder products to some extent, but it's really just an added step that doesn't do much. I'd pass on this and go with an actual brow gel, especially if you need something with hold or staying power.

I use this as a top coat after I apply black mascara to separate my lashes and make them more defined. Maybe it's just the black mascaras I use that are messy but this product does a great job of cleaning my lashes up!

PROS:
1) I bought it on sale for around $4 at Shoppers Drug Mart
2) Does the job - defines and separates lashes for a CLEAN look that looks more natural. I use this mascara on lazy days.
3) Great for beach/hot days so you don't have to worry about mascara flaking off your lashes

CONS:
1) Does not really hold curls. I have thin, short and straight lashes (yay for being Asian!) and this product does not seem to hold curls if you apply from the root to the tips. After curling your lashes, it is better to use this mascara LIGHTLY just on the tips of your lashes to make the curl stay.
2) Kinda gloopy consistency but that can be easily fixed by scraping the wand on the sides of the tube to take some product off!

Overall: Yes, I recommend this product!

This works so well as a brow gel. The packaging is simple, but the clear container lets you see how icky the gel gets with daily use. I tend to purchase a new one every couple months for this reason, even though there is plenty of product in the tube.

This was the first "mascara" my mother let me purchase, so the fact that it's still hanging around my makeup bag always feels like a throwback to my eight year old self.

This is a great product as a brow gel. It keeps my brow hairs in place, and locks in my brow color. This is also great as a lash base for me as I can use it as a lash base to curl my lashes.

I heard great things about Maybelline Great Lash in clear, as far as brow gel is concerned. I have brows that are naturally on the thinner side, but that tend to stray. So a good brow gel is a must, as it helps keep my brows looking tame and even a little thicker (since they're in place). This isn't the best brow gel I've used, but it's good for a drugstore product. A tiny bit goes a long way--so I make sure to wipe extra product off onto the edge of the tube before applying. Although it doesn't last ALL day, it does keep my brows in place for a good amount of time, without making them look or feel crunchy or stiff; I'm all for natural looking brows. I have used this as a clear mascara a couple times as well, and it works to naturally enhance lashes and hold them in place. I have long lashes already, so I imagine this would work better for those of us who do--not so much for those with shorter or sparse lashes, because this is a very basic product. As far as a brow gel goes, this is good-it's affordable and can be found at most stores. It does the job.

I use this product as a brow gel. The actual formula of the gel is great, it's just a standard gel. In my opinion, all brow gels work to hold the brows in place. However, my problem with this one is the packaging. I hate the packaging cause the stopper in the bottle is very ineffective, so I end up having a fully loaded spoolie with brow gel in it. It applies WAY too much gel which can end up ruining the brows I just did. This is easily fixable by just wiping the excess on the edge of the container before brushing into the brows, but that's a time waster in the morning. There are lots of other brow gels I find with better product amount control for an even better price.

Perfect if you are looking to tame your brows and keep them in place!
Aslo can be used on the lashes for a VERY natural, wet-lash look.

You can't beat this stuff. It's cheap and works very well. It holds my brows in place without making them crunchy/unnatural looking. It's also nice for a sweep over the lashes, just to keep them looking groomed, etc.
Overall, good product.
