so i have medium sized lashes. well i saw a commercial for the new stilleto mascara and it was amazing! my eye lashes look more full and wide and long! really brings out my brown eyes! I recommend it to anyone!

This was probably the best mascara ever. It definitely works

I thought this mascara was pretty good. i heard lots of reviews about it so i decided to try it myself. when reading reviews though, you have to consider that everyones different, so although it may not work out for you, it might work out for someone else.

The mascara was a good price and had a sleek and catchy packaging. the overall look of the tube got me to buy it. after buying it i was quick to open it and the applicator seemed normal to most. the mascara wasn't clumpy at all, and with about 2 applications, it made my lashes noticeably longer. my eyelashes naturally curl so it didn't lengthen as much as i thought it would, but thats normal to be. it also definatly defined them. there was no clumps for me. i would definatly reccomend this to everyone. :)

This is a pretty good mascara for lengthening, but it does nothing for plumping up the lashes. It also smells funny. It does last well and only flaked a little on me, so if it's lengthening you want this would be a good choice.

I am a complete mascara snob, and I really like this one. The consistency is nice, a little gel like, and it coats very well in just one or two strokes; it does lengthen my lashes to a respectable length. It does not smudge easily, nor does it flake. The brush shape works well with my lashes. I do have to curl my lashes first in order to have a curl, but it holds well. I have very sensitive eyes and they are never red, or itchy with this product. It washes off easily with my cleanser and doesn't seem to leave me looking like a raccoon as I am washing it off. As a bonus, it passes the tear test with a moderate grade (it isn't waterproof afterall).

I really liked this mascara. I liked the brush because its slightly triangular. narrow at the tip and wider at the base. It makes it really easy for me to get the outer corners of my lashes all the way to the base. I don't find it overly lengthening, but i like that it really makes my eyes pop and coat the lashes really well. I didn't have smudges or flakes. I would buy this again.

I usually gravitate towards Rimmel brand mascaras but after hearing everyone rave about this on the blogs I knew I had to give it a try. The only Maybelline mascara I have ever tried is Great Lash which has always been anything but "great" for me.

I loved the design and colour concept of the packaging. The brush intimidated me at first and I instantly thought "clump city" but the application was smooth and the colour was a good representation of brown/black. My lashes were definitely lengthened without looking scary and I had virtually no clumping (except for any coats beyond a third). My only negative feeling about the mascara is the overly chemical smell of the mascara which wrinkled my nose a bit. But in general the mascara delivered and then some and I will recommending it too all my makeup junkie friends.

I bough this mascara because i've been seeing it everywhere...on tv. magazine, forums etc... The price is great, it's a fraction of the price from my favorite mascara. I also love the packaging, very chic and sexy. When i first opened it and looked at the wand, my first thought is that the wand is a lot more sparse and thin than a lot of my other mascaras. I tried it on my top lashes and my lashes definitely looked longer. The only thing is that since my lashes are pin straight, the mascara didn't give my lashes a lift to show that length. I tried it on my bottom lashes and i loved the result. Since my bottom lashes doesn't need a lift, it really did a good job on lengthening my bottom lashes. It also does not clump as much. As for removing the mascara, i use a cleansing oil and it's a bit tough to get the mascara off. I have to rub it quite a bit. Overall, This mascara is great for my bottom lashes or lashes that doesn't need a lift of curl. I grab this mascara almost daily for my bottom lashes, but i wished it worked as well for my top lashes!

As a woman with short, sparse and virtually clear lashes, I am always on the lookout for a good mascara recommendation. I need the intersection of both length and volume, and I will pay almost any price for it frankly. My favorite, and the benchmark by which I measure all mascaras is Lancombe's Definicils. Lash Stiletto claims to give you extreme length, as well as shine and conditioning benefits. The mascara kind of "paints" on very wet - you need to apply very carefully, b/c lashes stick together easily because of the wetness. The directions advise you not to apply additional coats after it dries, and this is definittely good advice; the mascara starts to clump and get sticky if you try to apply it after it dries. However, if you comb it on very precisely while wet you do achieve an impressive length, and enough body to really look like you own a nice set of lashes. You have to know when to stop applying however, becasue the mascara feels kind of heavy and unnatural if you put on too much. I liked it enought to buy a second tube when I saw it on sale as a bogo with other Maybelline products, but it didnt beat out my Definicils either. However, it's nice to have the drug store option at a great price when I'm looking to save a few bucks, and I like to keep a few brands on hand in my cosmetics "war chest."

Pros: I already have pretty long eyelashes and this made my eyes "pop" even more.

Cons: I don't think they make a waterproof formula just yet. I unknowingly rub my eyes constantly so this definitely smeared on me.
