McLoving this flavour

I love coffee and have to start my day with a cup. McDonald's coffee is one of my favourites so was excited to try this k-cup version of McDonald's coffee in French Vanilla flavour. It uses 100% ethically sourced Arabica coffee beans and contains no artificial flavouring. Recognize the same rich tasting coffee that I get from the McDonald's restaurants except with the addition of French Vanilla twist. And love that it's in a k-cup format so that I can conveniently make it in the comfort of my own home with a Keurig coffee machine. As soon as I brewed it, I was already captivated by its aroma. I prefer mine not strong and with milk and honey. After I added these personal touches, it was perfect. Love the taste so would recommend k-cups if you're a coffee lover and prefer the convenience of making your own at home. Looking forward to trying other k-cup coffee brands and flavours.

Amazing French Vanilla Aroma

McCafe French Vanilla coffee is perfect for brightening up your day. With luxurious quality it's made of the purest Arabica beans. This medium roast is a beautiful crimson red coffee which turns amber orange when it's weakened. It has an amazing French Vanilla aroma. There are so many layers of flavours to this coffee having a sweet, bitter, chestnut taste. And it's naturally sweet enough as it is. I asked my Dad his thoughts on this female desired choice of French Vanilla coffee and he loved this appealing, not to over powering, mellowed signature flavour. He drives to McDonald's early every morning for a McCafe coffee and to be honest he is absolutely your biggest fan. So it was fitting that this new McCafe coffee would peak his interest. I love that this coffee is for ethical standards and that McCafe cares for the rainforest and its inhabitants. Even the whole packaging and pods can be recycled. I absolutely love this McCafe coffee and I will purchase this product on my next grocery visit.

Fantastic taste and aroma

Thanks McCafé and Butterly for sending me this free full-sized box of McCafé French Vanilla Medium Roast Coffee K-Cups in exchange for an honest review.

I'll start off by saying how amazing this coffee smells as it's being brewed. The french vanilla aroma is fantastic. Combined with the coffee's great flavour, I'd definitely reccomend giving these a try if you like flavoured coffee.

In terms of format, I liked that I could easily use these in my Keurig machine for a quick and convenient cup whenever I'm in the mood for a flavoured cup of coffee. I'm a fan of how K-Cups make it easy to make a single serving and keeps the coffee fresh until I'm ready for my next cup.

It was OK

I really wanted to love these pods but was disappointed. The coffee itself was not bitter or burnt and quite smooth but the vanilla flavour was too artificial tasting for me.

Weak taste

This coffee is weaker than I expected for a French vanilla flavoured premium roast coffee. Using less water and adding more sugar helps it bring out the flavour but I wished it had more flavour to it without having to adjust too much from my normal coffee routine.

Perfect cup everytime

The McCafe French Vanilla Coffee is the perfect blend of sweet and rich coffee taste. The vanilla is not overpowering the coffee taste, it taste great alone however I love to add cream for a richer taste. It a perfect medium roast that leaves not after taste and its so simple to use and comes out perfect every time. I haven't tried the McCafe flavoured K Cups before this but  now I'll have to give the other flavours a try too!

Just call me a Barista!

The McCafé French Vanilla Medium Roast Coffee has become a staple in my morning ritual. The subtle sweetness of French vanilla adds a pleasant twist to the medium-roasted coffee and I didn't even have to leave my house! I love how easy it is to just pop the k-cup into my Keurig and the great same flavour is roasted time and time again. I love flavoured coffee beverages, but just can never get the taste right, or it leaves my kitchen a mess. I was pleasantly surprised at its taste, as I was expecting a more dull subtle-taste. For those desiring a modest departure from standard black coffee, McCafé's French Vanilla Medium Roast offers a simple yet flavorful alternative. Overall it has changed my coffee and morning routine completely. I dont know if I can go back to a regular cup of Joe. My only wish is that K-Cup products were not as wasteful with packaging and more affordable - although still cheaper than going to a cafe and ordering a "French Vanilla". Definitely a recommended product from me!

Smelled good, tasted okay

I only tried this coffee twice before I went on vacation and didn't have access to a Keurig. I typically love McDonald's coffee and especially French Vanilla. This coffee smelled really good while it was being brewed and you could smell the vanilla. I don't know what happened but the first time I made my coffee I did a Splenda and 2 milks and it was not bad. I couldn't really taste the vanilla and my coffee had kind of a bitter taste. The second time I made it I used just regular sugar and 2 milks and I didn't really like my coffee at all. I don't know if it was just the machine I was using but my coffee tasted burnt this time. I'm going to have to keep trying this coffee to get it to where I enjoy it.

Smells heavenly

McCafé French Vanilla coffee is smooth, delicious and smells really wonderful. I like that it is made from 100% ethically sourced Arabica beans and contains no artificial flavours. You can really smell the vanilla as it is brewing. That heavenly smell of vanilla and coffee would already be enough to perk you up. I would definitely recommend if you are a fan of flavoured coffees.
