This is a great tool to keep track of the foods you eat. There is a great database of food and if your item is not in there you can just scan the barcode and there it will be. You can keep track of your fittness progress whatbyou do on a daily basis as well as input your diet needs.
The MyFitnessPal Iphone App is pretty good. It let's you keep track of how much calories you eat per day. It lets you log in everything you eat during your day. It also lets you add exercises you have done. It also lets you know your progress and goal achieve. So if you are looking for an easy app to navigate to either maintain or loose weight I would definitely consider this app. It's well made.
I have lost 200 lb and my fitness pal has been right there with me for 482 days. easy to use from computer or phone. It lets me check out the calories of a meal before I eat it or keeps track of what I've eaten so I stay on track with my eating plan. Also allows me to keep track of my fitness activities. It has a great bank of foods and activities already entered so you just have to select your food and portion or activities and length of time.
This app is amazing if you are trying to watch your calorie intake. You just have to input your food for the day and it counts your calories! When you first set it up, it takes your height and weight etc to set up your calorie limit in order to lose your "goal" weight. It definitely keeps you on track! OH YA! Did I mention that it's a FREE APP?!
Its a FREE app, so it is worth every penny!!! Love that it tracks your food, you can scan in your own barcode if it doesn't show up which is super helpful! The biggest downfall of this app is that t does not track exercise well, which is disappointing. I do sync it with my fitbit, which helps, but if you do a class or anything that it does not recognise, the app doesn't know how to track burned calories. Its almost a great app, just need to work on inputting calories burned.
This is a high quality app that helps you plan and track your food and exercise every day, making weight loss so much easier! I love the social aspect as well - it's nice to have accountability buddies.
I really trust this fitness & food journal app. Helps keep you ontop of healthy eating habits and getting your physical activity in. Like how it includes calories burned while cleaning, doing yardwork etc.
I find it really helps to add up your calories specially because it has every single food or if it doesnt you can add it! love it
