    Good light hot chocolate!

The light hot chocolate is good. It's not as rich as the regular hot chocolate. But, it's better since it has less sugar. It's good in hot water or with hot milk for a treat. It's terrific on a cold night.

Good alternative to regular hot chocolate

This light hot chocolate makes a nice alternative to regular hot chocolate for those who want to reduce their sugar and fat intake. The taste is not as rich or chocolatey as regular hot chocolate, but still has a pleasant flavour. I've made it with water and it is still somewhat creamy, though better made with milk. I've also added a spoonful of decaf instant coffee to make a homemade mocha, and this product works well for that purpose with the instant coffee adding some additional flavour.

    Low Calories But Great Taste

I'm a fan of Carnation Hot Chocolate; it's the only brand I drink. I usually buy the box which contains 10 packets of light hot chocolate mix. It is the box with the light blue label. Each packet is pre-packaged to serve one mug of hot chocolate at 45 calories each. The packets are 45 calories each, which is less than half the calories of the regular hot chocolate packets. The cocoa powder is enough to make a medium-sized mug of hot chocolate without losing flavour. The taste is chocolatey and rich, though slightly less rich than the regular packets. I like to make my hot chocolate using boiling water, which can make the hot chocolate taste watery if I add too much water or use too large a mug. These can often be found on sale at Wal Mart for around $4 (with tax) during the winter time.
