I received a free full size bottle of Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Water-Light daily face sunscreen to review.

I really liked this product. It absorbs very quickly and easily, even though it is SPF 45 which I generally find to be very thick, hard to rub in to my face and difficult to absorb. It goes on easily, and leaves my face very matte and non greasy feeling and looking. Make up goes on great over top of this sunscreen, and it does not make the makeup run or smear. I never burned while using this product, even when staying out in the sun for several hours and I am very fair and burn easily. I used this makeup every day for a couple of weeks and it did not clog my pores or make me break out.

There are a fews cons. I have sensitive skin and the sunscreen makes my face burn when I first put it on, but it is very mild and goes away after a minute or two.

It is a very small bottle (40 ml, as compared to 88ml of Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Face sunscreen), and pretty expensive ( $17.99).

I found that although it goes on very matte (makes my skin look more matte than when I wear other Neutrogena sunscreens) it does not last nearly as long as the other matte Neutrogena sunscreens.

I would recommend this product to anyone who has non sensitive, very greasy or oily skin and needs to look quite matte for a bit...if you need to look matte and shine free all day I would recommend Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Face sunscreen instead.

I found the formula a little too runny for my liking. I prefer a bit more solid so it goes on a more even application. The scent wasn't overpowering which was nice. The first time I tried this I was going to the beach so I didn't put foundation or face powder over top. Without makeup over top it left a bit of a slight white tinge to my face. About after an hour of being in the sun my t-zone started to get really oily.

When I wore it with powder the next day I didn't have the same issue with an oily t-zone. My makeup went on smooth over top and it felt effective as a sunscreen. I wish it had more moisture to it because it did make my skin feel a little dry.

It's a bit pricey for the size of the product you receive, probably not something I would continue to purchase to use on a daily basis.

I was fortunate enough to try this product courtesy of the Product Review Club. I have a love-hate relationship with Neutrogena. I want to love their products, but I end up hating them. I have tried nearly every product that they make and have yet to find one that I will buy again. Still, I keep trying them as so many people I know love Nueutrogena.

I was very disappointed that this product was not a moisturizer as well as a sunscreen. It went on feeling chalky and dry, and while the chalkiness dissipated for me, my skin didn't feel moisturized and was quite dry. The texture of the sunscreen on my skin was very off-putting to me. I didn't feel like it really absorbed--it felt like it was sitting on top of my skin. I tried using it with a moisturizer but that made my skin oily and caused me to break out.

It is a very effective sunscreen and has very little odor. I don't mind it so much on my ears and the back of my neck, but I can't use it on my face. I am very disappointed and would not buy this product. I would recommend it to anyone who uses and loves Neutrogena as I'm sure they will have more success than I did.

I received this product in the mail from Chickadvisor Review Club. I am a serious competitive rower, which means I am always on the water. Since water reflects the sun's harmful UV rays, it is crutial for me to always be protected.

After using this product for a couple of weeks on the water, I have formed a positive opinion about this product. Since my face did not get any darker, I think it is safe to assume that this sunscreen works. The only downfall is that it did sweat off within 30 minutes of my vigorous work-out. But, considering this is just a normal everyday sunscreen it does a pretty good job. I found after testing this product out, that I like the texture, its creamy and light on the skin, I can't really feel anything, plus its not sticky. One or two times I was even tempted to use it as a daily moisturizer because it hydrated my skin so well.

I also like the idea of shaking the sunscreen bottle and I also loved the fact that it was scent free. It wasn't streaky and it didn't apply white.

If I was given this item for free again there is no doubt in my mind I would use it. But unfortunately, the price at Shoppers Drug Mart is over $15 and that is too much for me to spend considering how much I go through.

I received a bottle of the Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Water-Light Daily Face Suncreen about 2 weeks ago and started wearing it on a daily basis.

It stated that it was great under make-up and I thought this was true but I found the days I went without foundation, it did cast a white mask (but I do have say that it would happen with any other sunscreen) and probably more appropriate for a casual outing versus going to work. I generally use a oil-free Neutrogena facial moisturizer (spf 15) and found this sunscreen was a good substitute.

I found the formula very light and easy to put on. While the size is great to travel with, I found it a little small (and pricey) if used on a daily basis.

I would recommend this sunscreen but not for days where you're wearing light make-up (no foundation). It's a great product but definitely on the more expensive side.

I had the opportunity to review this product through the Chickadvisor review club. I'm really glad I was selected, as this is a great product. The bottle is kind of small for the price that would be paid, but it's perfect for everyday use, and to slip in your purse or handbag.

This sunscreen is perfect to wear under makeup. It's not too thick and greasy like some other SPF 45 face creams I've tried. That's generally what prevents me from purchasing moisturizers with such high SPF, as I find they clot the pores. It is a bit runny, but you get used to that, and it absorbs well into the skin.

To me it doesn't have too strong a scent of sunscreen, which is good. I find it lasts throughout the day and not necessary to reapply. Haven't had a chance to test the waterproofness, but based on other reviews, it seems that's an area of improvement. Will try that out the next chance I get to go swimming.

Upon receiving this product, I tried it right away!

I always use a sunscreen on top of my moisturizer. The texture is creamy, a bit watery, light, faint smell, not greasy. It felt very light on my face, but even if it's not greasy, I still felt that the product was a bit sticky on my combination skin. I like the fact that it's spf 45. I have sensitive skin, so this product didn't break me out! I had no problem putting my makeup afterward...just remember to let the sunscreen penetrate for a few minutes before. Don't forget to powder it if you have combination or oily skin because you will see the oiliness after 1hour.
The packaging is cheap, but couldn't complain for the price we're paying, Plus the bottle is small, so you can bring it anywhere.

So in all, great product since I didn't breakout, portable, spf 45, light, but your skin can get greasy after using it.

Nope don't like it - too runny - prefer the face shield cream.

Before testing the sunscreen I walked up to my local cosmetic advisor at Shoppers Drug Mart - gave the bottle a shake and said to her "so this is liquid? How do they expect us to put it on our face? ".

I've tried it and found that the sunscreen does definately work but too runny to be accurate when putting on your face. I prefer a cream that's more solid.

Plus very expensive for such a little bottle.

It does do what it says it does - so at least I can confrim that. Would not reccomend it.

The first things I noticed about this sunscreen was the fragrance and the texture, both of which I liked. It had a "runny" texture so it didn't feel overly heavy once you applied it and I liked the light frangrance as it wasn't overbearing at all! I used it under make up and didn't even notice that I had sunscreen on. With other products I have always felt a residue on my skin and never enjoyed putting on anything to protect my skin.

The product itself works great! I have very fair skin and I didn't burn once! No nose burn and the inevitable sexy skin peel that follows after :)

I certainly would recommend this to anyone who wants to protect their skin and not clog their pores while doing it!

I was excited to try Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Water-Light Daily Face Sunscreen SPF 45 because I have used Neutrogena products before, and always with excellent results. So, of course, when I am trying a Neutrogena product, my expectations are always very high.

There is a lot to praise about this face sunscreen because it lives up to my every expectation. It goes on smooth, feels soft - not greasy. It's invisible - not shiny. Just like the name says, it is water-light and your skin feels clean. You don't even notice that you are wearing a sunscreen. It's long-wearing and is great under foundations or powders, and you won't see little creases in your make-up later on.

But the best thing about it for me is that it doesn't cause the redness, blemishes and little outbreaks I have experienced with some other products. It is recognized by the Canadian Dermatology Association and effective against both UVA and UVB rays. It's long-lasting and resists water better than most others I have tried. An SPF of 45 provides great protection, too.

So ... I really like this product and I'm hooked. Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Water-Light Daily Face Sunscreen SPF 45 is now my number one choice and I recommend it to everyone! Have a safe and happy summer!!
