We have been having horrendously hot weather in my part of the world and this product could not have come at a better time.

I am always weary about applying any type of product on my face, as I am fortunate enough to have a relatively "maintenance free" face (unlike other parts of my body :)

However, Neutrogena products have always enjoyed a great reputation, so I was very comfortable using this sunscreen on my face.

I have to say that I was very, very happy with the product and with the end result. I do a lot of biking and, of course, thanks to the helmet, sweat quite a lot - AND the good news is that this sunscreen witheld all of the heat, sweat and sun it was thrown.

I applied a generous coat, then went out in the sun and while I knew that the product was on my face, I could not feel it - which is great. Unfortunately, too often, sunscreens feel oily and I can't stand that feeling, but this was NOT the case here.

It has completely protected me from the harsh rays of the sun, I have not had any type of burn on my face and neck and I have also not suffered any type of allergy or negative reaction to the product.

Neutrogena sunscreen is relatively easy to apply, although I have to say that if I had one negative comment it would be that the cream is a little too "watery". It makes it harder to control the strokes, as you are applying, because the cream was more or less "leaking" out of my hand at times. However, once it was on, it was easy to massage in.

It is relatively odorless, although I kind of like my products to smell like spices or something light and airy.

I was thoroughly protected, felt clean (not all greasy!) and I was totaly happy with the product. Great buy from a very reputable company.

PS: I also loved the idea that this was specifically designed for the face - which I believe deserves its very own type of products in the first place.

I received Neutrogena's Ultra Sheer Water-Light Daily Face Sunscreen as part of the Product Review Club and I absolutely love this product. I wear sunscreen daily as it is, although it's built into my moisturizer (also Neutrogena and also well loved) so I was excited to try this new product.

It is exactly what it says it is. Unlike many sunscreens that are made specifically for the face, this product actually is sheer and very, very light. I have sensitive skin and am prone to break outs, but I've been wearing this product every day for a week now and there is no sign of it clogging my pores or being too heavy for my face.

In the morning, I put it on right after my shower before I put on my moisturizer. I find I do still need to put something on over it, as my skin feels very tight after a shower and the sunscreen does nothing to help this. However, it's so light weight and sheer that it feels like I'm wearing nothing at all, so layering moisturizer and makeup on after I've put it on doesn't feel strange. It's extremely comfortable to wear under makeup and I love that it doesn't feel like I'm piling more and more things onto my face.

The scent is light and airy as well. It barely smells like anything at all, which I definitely consider a plus. My skin doesn't react well to strong perfumes or overwhelming scents and this really doesn't irritate my face in any way. It protected my skin well, after I wore it alone outside on a very hot and bright day and came home without even a hint of colour on my face. I like that it kept my skin from getting burned, especially since I forgot to reapply throughout the day and was outside and sweating for several hours under the sun.

Even my boyfriend, who refuses to put anything on his face because he claims it feels weird, couldn't find anything to complain about with this product.

Thank you SOOO much Product Review Club - I was really hoping to review this one! I'm going on a camping trip this month so sunscreen is a priority, and my current one isn't great for my face because it feels greasy.

UltraSheer Water-Light sunscreen is awesome. The texture is very thin and light, and it dries quickly. This product doesn't leave my 100% shine free because my face is oily to begin with, BUT it is very close! It feels weightless on your skin, and not greasy at all like most sunscreens.
The fragrance is really faint but nice - definitely better than the typical unscented 'sunscreen' smell.
I'm glad it is SPF 45 because I tend to not reapply sunscreen throughout the day (although that might change now because I love the texture of this).
Everything about this is great, I only wish they made bigger bottles :) This is definitely a keeper!

This is a great sunscreen. I was a bit confused at first - I thought it was a sunscreen/moisturizer. So I put it on every morning for a week after washing my face. But then I realized, this technically isn't a moisturizer... but it didn't matter, because it works well as both.

The best thing about this sunscreen is how light and non-oily it is. It absorbs quickly, and then is dry - not greasy. You could easily use this product and then layer makeup on top.

For the summer months, I'm going to use this every day instead of moisturizer. In the winter, I'll probably switch back to my regular moisturizer when my dry skin needs an extra boost.

This is THE BEST face sunscreen I've ever used!

Most facial sunscreens leave me with random breakouts, or those little bumps under my eyes, but not this one!

Though the SPF is 45, you may think it would be too heavy, but infact, it's the complete opposite! Once you put it on, it leaves this light, silky smooth finish that you would never get with any other sun screen. Infact, I've even replaced it with my moisterizer! Because of that unique, sheer feeling it leaves, it's extremely easy to apply foundation or cover up right on top because it flawlessly smooths it on.

And, because this is an important factor to consider, the scent is great too! A very lightly scented product, can actually be nice for a change.

I recommend this to everybody and anybody!

I have used this for more than a week now under make up and it is great. It spreads evenly and soaks in easily and becomes invisible. It is not oily at all, which is a problem with many sunscreens.

What I love about this product is that it is non-greasy, non-oily, and does indeed work really well under make-up.

I have been using a daily SPF 30 facial moisturiser under my foundation, and even though it is oil free, I still end up with an incredibly oily T-zone area 2 to 3 hours into my day. I saw Neutrogena's Ultra Sheer Water Light daily face sunscreen in spf 45, and decided to give it a try. I am so glad I did! I love this stuff!

It's incredibly light, sinks in immediately, and works so well under my foundation that I never end up with an oil slick by mid-afternoon. It's not drying at all, and the formula is very light and easy to apply. I also love that the bottle isn't huge, sometimes a product's best before date runs out before I can even use all the product up.

I will definitly be purchasing this product over and over again!
