This was a great system when it first came out. We preordered one and were so excited to get one. After a few years and some crappy games we never use it. We bought a bunch of the exercising games and the balance board but they no longer have any appeal. Nintendo recently shut down the online component of this product so you can no longer go to the Mii store with it. Unless your giving it to old people or playing it for classic fun, there are better products on the market these days.

This is great for my young daughters to start on. They love it they play it every or every other day. It shows me that they can care and respect it and whe I go buy a different system they can do good and not ruin or break it. Its great from them. Love it.

Our family really enjoyed the wii. With the new Nintendo Wii U out I recommend the Wii U highly. There isn't a day that goes by that the WiiU is not turned on and not only used for gaming, we have Netflix on the Wii U in 1080p. If someone was thinking about purchasing the Wii, I would highly recommend the Wii U for the extra bit of cost. Nintendo has classic fun family games and you can purchase the old classics in the Wii store for a few bucks. All games from the Wii are compatable with the Wii U. Sorry if this didn't help with the Wii system, but I strongly recommend the WiiU. I know there has been issues ( it happend to us) but Nintendo paid for all shipping and handling and replaced our system as well as making sure all our digital downloads were on the new machine.

Bought this when it first came out was extremely excited for it bought tons to go with it paid over $300 for everything and was bored with it with in the first month. It has been sitting in my sons room for years collecting dust. I do not think it is worth the full price any more. Buy it at a second hand shop for less than half the retail price. My youngest is six and even she wont play with it any more.
