LOVE OUR Wii!! Love it. My husband has thought of selling it a few times because it's a few years old, but I love the Active Discs, the games are still great, and you can actually loose a few pounds if you keep at it regularly. I enjoy our Wii immensely and will never get rid of it.

My son received this as a birthday gift and LOVES it. We kept being told it was an old system with poor graphics, however we really like it. The graphics are not as good as the newer systems but they are good enough for my son who loves it.

I love my Wii. My favorite game is 100 pin bowling. What I like the most about the Wii is that I always feel like I getting a good workout

Love this console. I work out with it often. Could have better girl games available.

I bought a Nintendo Wii when they first came out. If was initially fun but the novelty quickly wore off and I gave it away.

I bought an older Wii from a coworker of mine. The wii I bought is one of those consoles that are backwards compatible, but newer Wiis and the Wii U no longer offer backwards compatibility. My dream job would involve playing games, so gaming consoles are big on my wish list. I love nintendo products and the Wii is one of those consoles that are made for the younger generations based on the types of games that are released for it, like Just Dance, and lackof call of duty style games. The Wii is the only console that you can play Mario, Pokemon and Legend of Zelda, aside from nintendo's hand held consoles. Plus the older console I have plays Game Cube games as well, except that you need a game cube controller to play them.

Speaking of controllers, the Wii has almost an over-abundance of different controllers for different games, sterring wheels, hockey sticks, the classic controller, nun-chuck etc. I can't be bothered to purchase all of these different controllers just to play one or two games, I'd much rather stick to my classic controller and the wiimote.

The nintendo eshop on the wii system is also great. It has a bunch of older games that I loved when I was a kids, such as Final Fantasy 1, 2 and 3 (The american ones though, not in the japanese releases of the games), Zombies Ate My Neighbors and Pokemon Snap. I'm still waiting for certain N64 games to be released onto the eshop, but who knows if they ever will be released.

Over all, I like my Wii. It is not the only console I have, so all the things that the Wii lacks, such as dvd playing capabilities, I can simply use my PS2 for. There are plenty of games available for the Wii, and the Wii U has even more features to play with. It may be geared more towards younger children, but the Wii is also great for the young at heart and nostalgic gamers such as myself.

I thought this would be great! It is if you have young children but for my hubby and I this sucked! Would rather have an xbox or ps3. You can't even watch dvd s off the WII which was extremely disappointing.

A great console. I've always loved Nitendo's but purchased my first system with them in the form of a Wii. I love the movement based controls and commend them for being a leader with this technology. There's a pretty good selection of games for this system, but an equal amount of flops. There's a fair amount of games that appear to look entertaining (either by name or the mere imaginative thought of what gameplay may be like) when in actuality they are boring, not challenging or too childish. Adult game selections are good, and it's not too hard to find a few entertaining cartoon like games that appeal to adult gamers like Carnival Games or Mario Party for example - these are great fun for the entire family.
If you're into hardcore gaming, you might be displeased with the Wii. Graphics are not those of Playstation 3 or Xbox but if you're not a stickler for that kind of thing, it's a very enjoyable system. I definitely recommend it for families and can say that my fiance and I enjoy battling out a few rounds ourselves too.
