The weather just changed from a heat wave to regular fall winter, and my skin rebelled, turning dry and itchy overnight. So instead of grabbing my summer face cream, I decided it was the perfect time to test out the Nivea Creme I received in my latest box from Chick Advisor. It was EXACTLY what I needed.
Not too heavy (though it would have been a bit much on a hot day for my combination skin), it went on and was absorbed just right. The only thing I'm not pleased with is the format - I'm not the biggest fan of sticking my fingers into a jar of cream.
The cream is great but it does take a bit of time for your hands to absorb. I use it as part of my nightly routine on my hands. I love the smell! The price is great also and it is very effective!
I love Nivea Creme. It has a sweet smell and is very moisturizing. I love the fact that after putting the lotion on my hands, they don't feel sticky. Love it!
I received this little thing of creme with my free package from Nivea. .I didn't think much of it until I tried it, then my son tried it as well. And wow...it works so well..and my son has some really dry patches and he even said he loves it and told me I have to go buy a big one lol. Its not greasy but when applied it feels thick but not heavy, you would think its a high end creme. Thanks Chick Advisor because I would probably never have purchased this creme if you guys didn't send me it :)
I received this product for free from the ChickAdvisor Review Club. This cream works well to moisturize. It wasn't anything overly spectacular, but it does the job as expected.
I recieved this product for free to try from the ChickAdvisor Product review club. This is a really nice heavy cream! Works great for hands or any dry skin you have.
For me, Nivea is always going to be that timeless basic cream that works for everyone. It always leave you feeling fresh faced and clean. It removes 100% of makeup. It seems to work on all skin types
I used this as a teenager and I think this product is great for teens and women of all ages.
I would not use this on a regular basis as I don't think it measures up to my current lotions. I find the creme to be really thick (almost like a baby diaper rash cream) and although it leaves my skin soft, I find it also leaves a lthin film on my skin which I don't like.
This product is ok, I don't think its bad, but I think there are better ones out on the market today.
I received this product free to try as part of ChickAdvisor's Product Review Club. The cream made my skin soft. It was smooth and not greasy. The scent was soothing and I did not have to use very much cream for it to be effective. It was easy to apply and the cream absorbed easily into my skin. The cream works great on sensitive, dry or dull skin as my husband can verify. He was pleasantly surprised!
I received this product from chickadvisor as part of thr product review club. #gotitfree
It's a fairly thick moisturizer, but it manages to feel pretty light and non-greasy when I use it as a hand cream. I haven't used it on my face yet because my skin just doesn't seem dry enough, but that is a use for this, along with hands and anywhere else you get dry spots.
It absorbs really quickly, which is great. I've tossed this tiny tin into my purse for on the go. The info card I got with this box doesn't list the 10ml size as an option, though, which is too bad, because it is such a good size for travel, and could easily be refilled from a larger pot after it runs out.
It does have that odd Nivea scent, which isn't a favourite, but it works well, and is certainly isn't the worst thing I've smelled. It's hard to describe; I wouldn't call it sweet or floral or fresh or musky... it's a little powdery and old-woman smelling maybe, but like... a nice clean old woman. It could be better, but it could be so much worse.
