Perfect sweetness with a subtle hint of mint

I wasn't too impressed with the mint flavour. When biting into the bar and chewing it, it's so subtle to the point where you think you taste mint but then question whether it's really there. I think this might be due to the dark chocolate overpowering the mint. That said, the aftertaste of the bar does contain a detectable mint essence, so it still delivers somewhat on flavour. If you are looking for something with a hint of mint without it being overly strong, then this would be great for you. In terms of sweetness, I would say this really hits the mark (sweet but not too sweet).

I always buy when on sale!

I love that I can get a vegan protein bar coated in chocolate with a rich fudgy minty taste for such little sugar and high protein! I especially enjoy with a cup of dark coffee. The crispy centre is really nice.

York Peppermint Patty In A Protein Bar..

I am a huge fan of protein bars so when I saw this one on sale for $0.99 each at Loblaws I knew I had to try it. Mint and chocolate is a great flavor combination!! This protein bar has a dark chocolate exterior which is not too sweet nor too bitter. The chocolate tastes high quality. Inside of the bar are chocolate rice crisps which add a nice crunchy texture. There is a strong mint flavor throughout the bar. You get that nice hint of cool mint mixed in with the dark chocolate. The flavors work every nicely together. This felt like I was eating a dessert. I loved all the various tastes and textures working in your mouth. This protein bar is nice and crunchy. This bar is vegan and does not contain GMOs. It is also gluten free so great for those with allergies.
